5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Thus far, I have spoken with a few other schools and I feel i'm going to get the best value for the money at IRSC.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I CURRENTLY DON'T HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ANY AT THIS TIME HONESTLY.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I haven't been to all of them, but I love the library, I go there frequently to study, with others and by myself. I hang out with my friends in the student center all the time. I wish there were more places in the student center for students to sit down together that doesn't include the cafeteria.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The wifi strength and speed is awesome, and i have yet to be in a building without it. There is one computer lab with free printing, but you can only print five pages. The library's computer lab has printing you have to pay for and a copy machine you can use (and pay for).

College Junior

Career Services: I don't know, I get to worry about that next year.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I only really affiliate myself with the artsy half of the school, and it probably is half because I'm talking about the AA geared students, not AS. The people I hang out with really make IRSC a fantastic school to be in.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I campus is gorgeous to look at but most of us aren't there for the "community" we're there to get a degree and leave, so the campus life, although it technically exists, feels nonexistent. most students only interact within their departments and within their classes. we have all sorts of events but we go to support our friends, not because of a team, or a club affiliation.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I only took one, and I wasn't much of a fan. I didn't really interact with the teacher. I mostly self taught, and most of what i learned i forgot as soon as i took the test.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It is quite easy for me to find classes at the correct time, but not always on the cmpus I want it to be it. If a class comes in two part, one one term, and the other then next, you have to take the first in the fall and the second in the spring. they almost never offer it the other way around too.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes really help you feel like you are progressing within your major, and all of the teachers are more than qualified to be there. Everyone there is dedicated to helping as many students graduate as possible. I know most of the departments heads (within the music program) on a one-on-one basis. The workload is large, but thats what comes with being a music major.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Most classes are fantastic. The teachers know their subject and love to teach it. There are of course the occasional teachers that make you want to bang your head against the and/or fall asleep, but over all the staff is fantastic, and the classes are very engaging.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The way they process partial scholarships is confusing and can take a long time, but over all it's not to bad.

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Around here, there is nothing. Most people go to IRSC to get an AA degree and then move to a better school. Its mostly to save a whole lot of money.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The offer the classes that are needed to transfer. So it isn't too bad.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The school is just not very good at advising students... its the lack of staff

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The courses are easy, and there is a lot of interaction between professors and students due to the small class sizes. I'm taking 18 credit hours and it is bearable, but would likely be much more difficult at a larger school.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors that I've had are good, the class registration can be done in 20 minutes online, and there is help for the students that need it around the campus.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Most of the students at the college are either transfer majors, nursing, business, or students with sports scholarships.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have yet to enter my major. I am doing general educational classes at the moment.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Ok, this has already been answered. Variety of courses are great. Variety of degrees are great. Professors are great. Registration is great, just enroll early.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: Ok, none of these apply directly to me. I attended college while in the Army, and was advise to NOT transfer these credits, as to avoid being denied financial aid. What a system. I plan on taking things on a semester basis, and depending on my opinion, I may choose to continue towards a bachelors.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Even thought I have not taken advantage of early enrollment, I am a veteran, and given this opportunity. Classes still remain widely available, if enrolled within a reasonable time-frame.

Campus Resources: Again, library is good. Campus looks great.

Campus Resources: Wi-Fi available in nearly every classroom, and the campus outdoors. Computers are widely available.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Wouldn't change a thing....except the workout facilities.
