3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is a lot of international students so there is no lack of diversity. That being said, most people are very accepting and I never felt uncomfortable because of my religious or political views.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: As a minority student on campus, I feel pretty much accepted here. There are events held by different clubs that represent some minorities at our school that is open to everyone. Take advantage of them! You may learn something about another culture while also enjoying some great food.

4 College Junior

Diversity: IIT does encourage racial diversity and highlights the accomplishments of people from all backgrounds.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Sooo many different people here that I would believe that everyone is accepting since I havent noted any serious issues.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Over 40% of the student body is made up of international students, and that doesn't count anyone with a green card. I have gotten to really know some students from all over the world and I love it. One thing I wish our school would do though is have a good foreign language department. Students from all over the world have learned English and are here to learn about the US, but no one from here is required to learn about the culture of the rest of the world.
