Overall Experience: The classwork has been exciting. Learning new skills has been refreshing. Meeting the student body has been rewarding. And the help of the staff has been never ending!!

Career Services: Everyone at Illinois Center for Broadcasting is dedicated to help students find work upon graduation if not sooner. Their numerous connections in the broadcast industry allows for them to easily place many of their students into new jobs/careers very soon after completion of the program.

Facilities: Unlike most coleges, Illinois Center for Broadcasting is different in that it is a very focused in terms of its facilities. Located in the heart of downtown Chicago, there isn't a lot of extra room available but it has all of the resources that are needed for a student to succeed.

Campus Resources: The resources at the school are second to none. There are a plethora of materials to use to study with and hone your area of expertise. Or explore other areas of bradcasting technology. From DVDs that you can borrow to the constant number of guest speakers that are parading through the campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The only reason I rated it as only "OK" is that there aren't as mant printers as necessary. Other wise it woould have been rated "GREAT".

Student Body: The population of the student body at Illinois Center for Broadcasting is extremely diverse. But just about ALL of the students there are hard working and friendly. Due toi the diversity of the students, the intelligence levels of them vary as well. However, most are extremely focused on their career in broadcasting. I enjoy the atmosphere around campus, it is a very positive one and nice to be around!

Campus Resources: Not enough studios, sometimes cameras and up to date plugs in on computers. They have run out of printer paper a few times for a couple of days.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: You get exactly what you put into it. The teachers and resources are always there and someone is always willing to help, but you will not be handed a path.

Campus Resources: Our campus resources consist of Career Services, Television Studios, Computer Labs, and Radio Studios. They are all given to us at our disposal and it's always someone available to assist us when we need help. We typically receive intern hours or studio hours for taking part.

Tuition & Financial Aid: We receive a lot of benefits attending the school, but I just wish that there were more ways to pay for it. It's kind of expensive but I try to stay focused on what's important for your career. They seem to be really understanding about everything, though.

Academic Flexibility: They allow you to attend the program when you are available to attend. They don't try to interfere with anything that you may have going on outside of school. You are allowed to create a schedule based on when you are free.

Campus Resources: While I have teachers who are well known, nationwide, they still have multiple jobs, but are helping us to get our start.

Academic Experience: Specified, Particular, Professional, Knowlegeable – Having come from an "University" environment, specified, pin-pointed education is appreciated, after a "general" degree proves almost worthless, especially in this economy, with 25K still owed!

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: While the teachers are upfront about career possibilities, the hardships of choosing Broadcasting as a goal, and the few openings available, I still didn't realize how difficult it truly is until turned down for my first two, UNPAID, internships! Still trying though...

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Networks Are up to Date, but Problamatic – When students & parents walk in, they are shown a video w/one of the school's more recognized alum, but there are issues not only using space provided to complete projects, but the typical programming issues of the computers, & software.

4 College Senior

Career Services: Hope to Take Advantage – I had been out of school for almost a decade, but most of my teachers, & all of the administrators are understanding of my situation. I have not been able to find an internship, yet, but with many of my teachers helpful suggestions, I hope to not only attain an internship, but return to help future grads, as I have been helped
