3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some of the people are very rude. The janitors are so nice though as well as housing staff. The RA wasn't the best and did not help at all.

4 College Student

Campus Housing: I lived in a sorority on campus and it was amazing! The houses are kept up and spacious, however the dorms on campus are cramped and outdated. Though there is one new building with more expensive and nicer dorm rooms.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Some dorm are really good and there are some that could be a bit better. The housing in the Rendezvous building are awesome. The turners are a little too small.

Campus Housing: I Don't stay on campus but I have stayed in the dorm and many other dorms and they are all about the same.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I'm not fond of the price on campus housing, but the convenience is worth it.

The quality of ISU's campus housing varies. Some of the dorms are well-kept and maintained; other dorms have more problems. Turner Hall is definitely the dorm to live in to get to know a lot of different people. The men-only and women-only dorms are more intimate and not as crazy. The dorms are also more convenient for students with classes on Upper Campus.

But the dorms are located close to Reed Gym, so that is always good motivation. The Rendezvous Center provides 72 apartments with 301 beds. There have been some complaints from the community and faculty about the facility costing a lot of money that is needed elsewhere, but students still definitely have more opportunities for luxurious housing. With most students living off campus, Rendezvous gets students more involved with what is happening on campus. It also brings students together, as they will be living in a more tight-knit community in the same building.

Did You Know?
Gravely Hall, now home to the political science department, was once a girls' dormitory back in the day. Girls used to sunbathe out on the roof. There are rumors that the building is actually haunted, but those are probably just rumors, right?
