Guys & Girls: Small school so everyone is close

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The food out here is the best

5 College Freshman

Nightlife: 6th street is always packed and fun.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: When I firs came to apply for aid, they were very busy so it took a while.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I was born and raised in Austin, Texas; reason why I stayed. I love the city and cannot imagine moving away right about night.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: You have to pay once you're off campus

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: Most non-Greek students look up to the Greek students and love everything that they stand for. Most of the Greeks are very nice and speak to the students. Their events are always on point. There is no Greek housing but we do have plots for the different Greeks here on campus.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone on campus just mind their business pretty much but every now and then there are some disagreements. No judges one another's sexual orientation. It is what is.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on campus but some students smoke on 11th street off campus.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: For me the financial aid office is awesome . The staff is there and willing to help you whenever you need it !

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: We our in the process of renovating the dorms... so it is going to be totally different this upcoming fall semester.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics is not really a big deal on campus since we our a small campus.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: You have to go out most of the time.

5 College Freshman

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is not a good idea.. you have worry about paying extra bills... and getting transportation.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Huston-Tillotson University is in Austin, TX we our surrounded by everything...parks...clubs...movie theaters... restaurants... etc.. this is a beautiful city that is full of so many things to do.

4 College Freshman

Parking: If you have a car I would recommend that you just pay for a parking permit it is only 50 dollars for a whole year. Instead of parking across the street where you cant even see your car.

5 College Freshman

Computers: We have computers labs all over campus. If you go to the peer learning consultant center in the jm building it is free to print.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is not bad at all. We've had a couple of snow days other than that it's a very beautiful campus !

College Freshman

Scholarships: I'm not a US citizen so I could not apply for financial aid.

College Freshman

Transportation: The rating isn't needed because we don't have a transportation service in my school because everywhere is within walking distance.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off-campus and I've never so I don't really know much about it, but I know that it's safe, more freedom, there's parking lots, usually available.

Campus Housing: It's cool and fun to live on campus. You get to know all the events that go on. The dorms (suite and community) are nice to live in, you either want a roommate or not, you have friends to talk to. The dorms are being renovated to make it look more classy and modern. The social atmosphere is good, it's quite costly but you get quality, very convenient, ease of housing process is great.

Majors: My Major is Business Administration but I'm concentrating in Accounting. I'm still a freshman at college and so I'm taking just my prerequisites which isn't stressful and I enjoy it. The reason I enjoy it is because I've taken some of the classes in high school which makes it easier for me and I totally believe in education. The unique aspect of my program is that an accountant is needed in every organization to keep financial records, help in making financial decisions, analyze records but the workload is quite heavy.
