Professors make sure you understand the concepts before moving on and are very understanding. They are also on top of every student, making sure their voices are heard. As a person who is very timid, I feel appreciated and I thank their effort in making the time to take care of every individual!
When I learned that healthcare was the best industry to find employment opportunities, time and time again I heard the Hunter Business School in Levittown was the place to go. From the first telephone inquiry, through the financial aid process, as a student and then as a job hunter with the help of Career Services, I always felt respected, valued, and appreciated. I have learned so much from all of my instructors. They were always able to meet outside of class time to work on something that I couldn't figure out or make time to teach some finer points outside of class time. I found the distribution of Chromebooks and text materials seamless. My advice for future students is to take advantage of the time you have with your instructors. Engage with your classmates! I found that once we all adapted to remote learning, we would speak to one another on our computers and it really enhanced our enjoyment of the classes. I will miss my classmates and all I’ve met through Hunter -!
Even with remote learning, I gained so much knowledge through all of my instructors in my MOA program. The majority of my Hunter instructors were always available to meet with me outside of class time to work on something that I could not figure out or made time to teach some finer points from our course outside of class time. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for more pleasant and capable teachers. I was never physically in a classroom due to the Covid pandemic yet I still found the distribution and use of Chromebooks and text materials to be helpful and seamless - except for when there were issues with the remote server (RD client).
Also, I found that once my classmates and I adapted to remote learning, we started to speak to one another as class was about to start or during breaks via Google Classroom and it really enhanced our enjoyment of the classes and sense of connectedness. I will really miss my classmates and all of those I’ve met through Hunter -!
