4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: It feels good to be around such good looking people. Everyone is at Howard for a reason and there is a chance that you will find someone who has common goals/ interests as you.

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Gorgeous and handsome student body if I do say so myself. If you are a girl don't expect to find a 'bae' anytime in your freshman and sophomore year because most are looking to hookup. However, there always those few that find each other freshman week and last until graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The guy to girl ratio is very annoying in classes but when you are just out on the yard you cant really tell there is a big difference.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone is super into their appearance, I guess that could be a good or bad thing. 99% of the student body is extreamly motivated which is a wonderful atmosphere. These students LOVE to party litterally EVERYWHERE they go but they study way harder than they party.

3 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: Gilrs at Howard are very much into their looks. Because you know Howard is consider one of the most fashionable school in the nation and everything. They do a great job at balancing a social life on campus with their academics. A lot of girls are very successful in their own right.

The Howard Girl and the Howard Guy are truly one of a kind. Howard students are always passionate about whatever they are doing. Whether it is class, studying, or partying, everything is serious at Howard. Being ranked the No. 2 best-dressed school in the nation, it is not surprising that the students take personal style seriously. Style varies from thrift store chic, to grandma's closet, to best friend's floor, to the random stores down the corridors of U Street. This does not always mean what is trendy or fashionable, but more or less the way students carry themselves. As a Bison, you are surrounding yourself with other students who want success just as much as you do. This produces a self-confidence that can be seen in the glow of our student's faces. Our female population drastically outnumbers the male population, causing competition among the girls. There is a seemingly constant need to snag the "few good guys" Howard has to offer. Do not let this discourage you because the population has various factors that diminish the negative side effects of the lack of males. With all that said, Howard girls and guys are usually very friendly and look to make the stiff D.C. environment warm and welcoming. Howard has students from all parts of the nation. With every student is a new culture and lifestyle, making Howard a large melting pot for the African American community. There is surely someone at Howard you can relate to no matter the circumstance.

Hookups or Relationships?
