4 College Sophomore

Student Body: They are all very different and have their own take on things

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I know they have a career center but I haven't gotten that far yet.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like because financially speaking it's affordable because they don't charge for extras that you might not even be using.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The library is good with plenty of resources for the students with out having to say we'll you have to wait in line in order to use the resources.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Good accessible network that doesn't get jammed up if to many are trying to connect at once.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Everyone got along for the most part and the students were diverse.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Everything was easy to access and was reliable. Everything was kept clean and conveniently open.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The connection was always disconnecting.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I never took an online course this past year but other people that did said that it was easy to work with.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Honestly the courses were easy. You didn't have to try super hard to maintain a B average and students didn't need to work their hardest.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My experience at Howard College was great for my first year. I won't be attending next year for personal reasons, however I was exposed to new types of people and lifestyles. I grew more as a person and established myself better.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Howard College is a small school, which allowed for everybody to be close. There was never no one around to help if you needed it. The faculty there was always kind and never rude and assisted with anything that was needed. However, it didn't necessarily feel like a college. There were some restrictions that the students had that other colleges didn't, and it was almost like we were being treated like High School students.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: They really don't offer much in terms of careers other than those who are in the Dental Hygiene program or nursing programs.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's pretty cheap and affordable, the classes mostly transfer which is good. Overall, academically you're getting your worth, but in terms of housing and dining, definitely not.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Teachers and staff are more than willing to help you out and work around your schedule. Their are a few pricks but outside of that most of the administration and teaching staff will help you as best as possible.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The school itself is nice on the outside and a lot of the buildings have been remodeled. Their computer labs are up-to-date, and their classrooms are above average. On the down side, their dorms are horrific, the library is pretty run-down and bad. There are no green spaces in campus what-so-ever but that's because it's west Texas.

2 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Honestly, Howard College academics are a joke. My high school was harder then their academic curriculum is.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They have lots of pre-requisite classes which do the job, but outside of that they don't have much. They apparently offer a lot of classes that go towards associates degrees though.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I did not know that I would enjoy this college as much as I have. Great staff who are willing to help any and everyone.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office has helped me through some tough stuff. I really cannot begin to explain how grateful I am. I would not be taking any classes had they not made a few exceptions on their part. For that I thank them.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have enjoyed this past school year. I have met great people and my teachers are all pretty awesome. I will miss them next year. I hope that they bring the same experience to others that was brought to me.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Just need more programming courses

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Advisors change frequently and they each tell you something different.

College Junior

Academic Experience: I will start classes in the fall at Howard college

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Right now printing is free. But I think that is changing in fall 2013. Wireless is hit or miss, depends on where you are and how many people are on the network. We do need a larger computer lab, but that will be coming with the new buildings.
