Tuition & Financial Aid: They have gotten better over the years, but every college you deal with Financial Aid stinks and is a very long and annoying process.

Academic Experience: So far I am only working on my prerequisites so I haven't started the nursing program yet, but the workload and curriculum for my prerequisites are both reasonable. I didn't expect more or less.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Most topics involving Academics are pretty decent. The professors are excellent and go completely by the curriculum. It is very easy to register for classes and there are plenty of study and tutoring options.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I am not a very social person when it comes to school. When I am at school I focus on class and studying. The student body is very diverse, but in general everyone is very accepted.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I was able to schedule my classes based off of my usual work schedule. I haven't needed to transfer credits yet, seeing as how this is only my second semester.

Facilities: Nothing unique, its a school set to have you learn and get your hands on experience in the field. Job oriented schooling. You still have a ton of fun with your class mates though.

Academic Experience: Horry Georgetown tech has multiple campuses. The one I'm at is highly orriented towards Forestry/Wildlife management and Nursing student. Other campuses or oriented towards other degrees but there are basic classes at each campus.

Campus Resources: There is a wide range of resources available to the students. Just a lack of athletic centers, but its not that kind of school. HGTC is oriented towards getting your degree, getting you known to your chosen field, and hands on experience.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computers are available at almost any time and networking speed is fine. Printing is at minimal cost if any.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: The work we do with current businesses and other groups really gets you out into the field. Summer internships are pushed hard in this school.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Classes can easily be fitted around personal schedules. There are always exceptions though.
