Career Services: I transferred to Austin Peay and HCC has made sure that they did everything correctly.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The staff was super helpful and I feel like I got a fair rate.

Academic Flexibility: I had a very good experience with enrolling and all of my credits transfered perfectly.

Student Body: The student body has a wide variety of people from young to old, everyone seemed to be pretty nice. I feel like it was hard to get to know my classmates outside of class because there wasn't very many campus functions that got students together.

Overall Experience: I thought HCC was a really good school but I also think it's missing a lot of the campus functions that other schools have, basically you go to class and go home but you get a great education.

Online Courses: My experience with online classes have been okay. The workload is adequate and the registration process is very easy.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Again, this is only my first term I have about two to three more before I can apply to nursing school- I'm getting a good education and that is what I'm here for .

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It's only my first term and I've learned a lot, so is have to say so far do good!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Great, I'm here for an education not the overall "college experience" so I feel like I am getting out of it exactly what I put into it!

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm paying out of pocket so I think that the tuition for a community college is perfect and I fit it in my budget. I have not applied for financial aid yet

Online Courses: I took a hybrid course so part was online -120 hours and part in the computer lab. My professor was knowledgeable, excited about her job and loves to teach so it was an overall great experience (this was a short term so you are expected to study and work everyday to pass this class!!)

Career Services: Career services in my field are great- know that you may have to use the main campus as resources are limited. The satellite campus is just a stepping stone - once u get into the nursing program I will attend the main campus, which is much larger any definitely career orientated. There are three certificates that accompany just my prerequisites so if I didn't complete the program I would be able to use phlebotomy, CNA or pharmacy tech certificate to look for work . That us not my intention but the course gives the student certificates in theses areas as well as the RN or LPN

Facilities: Small satellite campus, however - I'm here to learn and get a degree and I don't need any distractions . For me the campus is great.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I am at the Ft. Campbell satellite campus and there are a lot if soldiers, a few dependant children who are college age working on associates degrees- there are older students, like me( 30-50 age group) who are starting over or building on the college courses from their past. I would call the campus a "melting pot" there is a little bit of everything here, very diverse.

Campus Resources: I use this rating only because I am at a satellite campus and our resources are great for what I need, but very limited. I have been to the main campus and they have a large book store and the nursing facility is large with many labs and classrooms to accommodate this course.

Campus Resources: I think it's fabulous! I just completed my final in CIT 101 and the network is great at the Ft. Campbell campus, I didn't experience any outages or lag time. There was no need for me to bring my laptop but the classrooms welcome them and any other portable computer or tablet devices. The best browser that is most comparable is Mozilla Firefox but I perfer Google Chrome and it worked just fine. Classes are viewable on Blackboard and submissions, online courses, class discussion boards are all found in this course management software-which is free to the student along with free Office 360 and Cloud. There are at least two computer labs(which is great for this satellite campus)and open labs are available day and night. The paper in the computer lab is provided and there is no printing fee. MAC compatable in most instances but there were a couple software hiccups due to Mac's proprietary OS-

Academic Flexibility: This is only my first term back to school & I'm taking finals now. The classes have been both reasonably easy & challenging. I am finishing pre-req. courses for the nursing program(which is ultra competitive-with only 40 coveted spots opening twice per year)& I've only experienced one set back. The nursing advisor is overloaded and in April she was booked thru the end of the year with appointments-no one told me that unless you see your advisor & map you school course with them you can not enroll for the next term. Luckily the main campus(30 miles away) was able to book a nursing advisor for me at that location.

Academic Experience: There are NO classes for education majors.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: Classes are extremely boring and many are too easy. I've only had two professors who actually made class interesting and enjoyable. They truly had a passion for what they teach. Other teachers I've had are simply just there to reiterate facts to students and get a paycheck.

1 College Senior

Facilities: It's just an average, run of the mill, community college. If you've seen one, you've seen them all.

1 College Senior

Campus Resources: We only have a library. It has a very limited book selection, none of which have been beneficial to my classes in any way.

1 College Senior

Campus Resources: The computers are located in the library and are extremely slow. Waiting for the internet to load is worse than dial up was in the 90's.

2 College Senior

Student Body: There are very few clubs. The major ones are science clubs (there are 2) and a Baptist club. I have no idea about who makes up the student council, or if there even is one.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: This has been a good school to attend as an adult student.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I transferred my military credits, and it was pretty easy.
