4 College Student

Majors: Getting admitted you have to make sure all of the required material is in on time and make contact with the admissions specialist of the major program.

4 College Student

Majors: The classes are small, there is a lot of support. Some students are new and others might be on their way out, so it's a great class mixture.

3 College Student

Parking: At Chabot College the parking is horrible with cost and spots..

At holy names it's hard to find parking but there is no charge with a parking permit

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: If you don't get caught, you're okay. Campus officers and RAs know that most students don't leave campus to party so they are pretty lenient even when you do get caught. You can be written up at least 3 times.

3 College Freshman

Academics: Small classes. Teachers get to know you one on one. Workload isn't too hard unless you are in the nursing program.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: No school spirit. Some sports teams are close and bonded. Others are always arguing with each other or their coaches.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Have computers in lab but some don't work with the internet and others don't print.

2 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The food has gotten better over the years but it's still not that enjoyable. Edible but not satisfying.

2 College Freshman

Parking: need more parking spots on campus. Building some for next year.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Give a lot of sport scholarships and academic scholarships.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Depends if you want something to satisfy the munchies or something healthy. Many fast food places and restaurants.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: San Francisco is only a 45 min drive away and there are plenty of functions here in Oakland. On campus activities are boring and serve no purpose.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: The school is very diverse. We have people from Hawaii, Cuba, Croatia, the Middle East, etc. The school is Catholic but I barely hear anyone talk about religion, except if they have a project due for homework. Sexual orientation is not a problem either. Especially since we live so close to San Francisco

4 College Freshman

Weather: Its sunny and warm during the summer and spring. Definitely shorts weather. Its moderately cold during the winter. Nothing below 45 degrees though.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: It gets pretty loud in the dorm halls at night. Most people only leave campus to get food or go home for the weekend. Prepare for loud music and a bit of screaming. Party wise, its only turned up in the beginning of each new semester. Later, it dies down and most people resort to clubbing in the city or getting drunk in their dorm rooms with friends.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: good teams and nice gym for workouts

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: the school is remote in hills

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: very social area and people are friendly

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: the financial aid office helps alot

3 College Freshman

Academics: easy with help from teachers

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms is very convenient. There are not many cost effective places to live off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like the fact that our school is so small. It gives you a chance to get to know everybody.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Half of the time the computers in the computers labs do not print.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There is not much campus crim. I feel very safe living here.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: I wish that there was more participation in activities that promote spirit.
