3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: For a two year college the tuition is reasonable. The cost for room and board in my opinion is a little high for dorms.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They do have some block schedules already created. For example they have the class sections that line up and do not conflict with each other.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The natural resource program is great. The teachers are really dedicated to the program and the students.

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I lived on campus at Hocking College and it was a horrible experience. The staff was not very friendly nor helpful. The student body was hindering and not focused on education.

2 College Freshman

Career Services: A small job fair but no real opportunities for internships or co-ops.

2 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I witnessed many students receiving finical aid from the federal government and then withdrawing from there classes in order to receive a refund check from HC. In the past, HC was accused of money laundering and fraud.

2 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The library was of decent size. The student-rec center was new and acceptable. No noteworthy campus activities took place.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The internet speeds, on a good day, reached dial-up connectivity. This actually hindered my education and wasted a lot of my time. Printing was 10c a page. No wireless access in my dorm room.

1 College Freshman

Student Body: I witnessed hazing and organized slander on select students. Undertaken by the entire student body.

1 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I don't think my credits would transfer to most schools.

1 College Freshman

Facilities: I didn't think there was anything unique about Hocking College. There was very little to do on the social scene and the campus life was torturing.

2 College Freshman

Online Courses: Hocking College is ran on a content management system called Moodle. It holds all the information regarding your classes and I found it fairly useful.

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There were no unique aspects of the Computer Programming / Networking program at HC. Nothing, probably less, stood out while attending classes. The workload wasn't too heavy; wasn't too light. Classrooms were of smaller size using outdated technology.

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Most of my instructors we're knowledgeable. However a couple of my professors hardly lectured or taught anything at all. They seemed to just wasting what could have been valuable class time. Class registration for my second semester was slightly difficult with my adviser and took 3 appointments with her to finalize.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Always follow the most important priority on the schedule.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computers are virtually the same all around, you just have to know your way with a computer. I have taken Computer classes in highschool.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am expecting a high level of education to be received from my studies, in which i will be attending Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: the student center is okay they have most things you want such as a pool.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: they have about three different computer areas through the school

2 College Senior

Career Services: i dont think they have one any more.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It was supper easy to go through and the people try to help you the best they can.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I love training to be a baker. There isn't really a work load just common knowledge you need to know.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: we have tunes of stuff to choose from when it comes to academics.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I wish that I had started school earlier.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I do not know much about this yet.
