3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: About 200 seniors live off campus, and everyone else lives on campus. You must have special approval to live off campus.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Geneva is for the most part rundown.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: A lot of majors to choose from.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Computer labs in the library.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: Almost everyone is white. A few asians. A few blacks.

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Most kids drink and smoke. Tons of kids do blow.

1 College Sophomore

Weather: Always cold. Winter is brutal.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There are two main Fraternities on campus. Sig, TDX

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Mcdonalds, wegmans, fast food, Taco Bell. ETC

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Having a car is a plus.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The city of Geneva is ghetto. My freshman year a kid got robbed and pistol whipped by some gang banger local. A lot of people in Geneva are really sketchy. I know at least five kids how've been robbed. Luckily we have cops and campus police all around. Just never wander out really late.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: It's easy to get written up. Pretty much everyone I know has been written up at least once.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics are solid. All the dudes go to the football, hockey, and lax games.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The nightlife isn't bad. It's all about fraternities and going downtown. If you're under 21, their strict as f*** and confiscate tons of ID's. Sting Operations are common at all the bars and I know of at least ten underage kids who got minor in possession of alcohol charges along with having a fake ID which this county takes really serious. I got a $250 fine for just having a fake. If you're a freshman or sophomore you'll have to try to get into the fraternities. This is very tough unless you're really rich, varsity athlete with teammates in fraternities, older brothers are in it, went to prep school with the brothers ETC. The two main fraternities are Sigma Phi and Theta Delta Chi. You can't get into Sigma Phi unless you have tons of coke, drive a seven series beamer, Dad in Forbes magazine. ETC. Theta Delta Chi is all "total Bro's", preppy private school kids and athletes. Downtown is crazy, gets get arrested every weekend. You can't really party in the dorms because it's a trap and campo shows up and writes everyone up for Minor in possession s*** or "noise violations".

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: It's okay. There are frats, but there aren't sororities. I think that this is a little bit of a problem because girls should get the same opportunities as guys.

3 College Freshman

Computers: It's good for the most part. I really don't need a lot of tech support because I don't really do anything that would require intense amounts of help....

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know much about off campus housing. I guess you could say some theme houses are off campus, and some are really nice.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: The international students are looked down upon by some people because they don't branch out to meet people. They cluster together and don't make friends with most of the students. When you get to know them they're very nice though.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I think that we could have more support for sports. It's not the best here. The sports facilities are okay, but they're really out of the way, far from everything.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some places such as Comstock, de Cordova, Caird, etc. are really nice but some dorms like the mini quad, Sherrill, JPR are not great places to live in.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I've heard good and bad things about Hubbs. I'm not really sure if I like them or not, but I've heard our counseling center is pretty good.

3 College Freshman

Majors: The majors are like any other college however you're required to fulfill the 8 Goals and I think that that's an unnecessary hassle.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I might've applied to a different school to get into a nutrition program or something instead. I'm not unhappy, but I think it could've been better.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: It's pretty good if you know the right people, have the right connections to get you in somewhere.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: There are some people who do drugs but it's not that prevalent, at least not to me. The alcohol is a different story, people drink a lot on the weekends, more so than the colleges think.
