Campus Resources: Library is open at hours that I need. A lot of student activities .

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computers and wi-fi is always available at the library.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Great, small college in a rural area. Advsiors and teachers are always available. They even give their cell phone numbers to you.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The academic experience is straight forward. The professors teach what is needed and explain what you need to always remember.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: Hiwassee is a small school. The student body interacts well and everyone knows everyone. We have intramural sports, fantasy football, concerts and etc. Great place to get to know people and have a lot of fun.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid moves smoothly and as fast as possible with the help of the student's availability.

5 College Freshman

4 College Freshman

Student Body: a lot of the students that attend this school can be a little over dramatic and hard to deal with at times. overall the other students are really nice and can be easy to get along with. it really depends on who you are dealing with.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid at this school i give it big time thumbs up! I got all the help I needed and the school was very helpful!! As for the tuition it is very high for it being such a small campus and not many students, I would prefer it to be cheaper.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I'm an equestrian major at my school. We have an amazing equestrian program, and we have one if the best instructors in east Tennessee. We do not have to take any crazy extra classes for our major. The equestrian majors do notable slot of extra work load that we have to do. Just you basic horseback riding classes, and a couple of extra horse classes.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I gave our school a B- because it's being a small school well have limited resourses, we do have a great student life, and we always try and have campus activities going on to keep everyone entertained.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I gave our school an A- because we do have a unique campus with us being so small. Our campus is cute because it's out in the country and has a country feel to it. We have unique programs that other colleges don't have. some of our programs is our equestrian program, and our dental hygiene program.

1 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: We just recently got a new Financial Aid supervisor and she has succeeded in screwing up most of my financial aid.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I wish the school offered more 4-year programs, but they are working on that. The professors could not be better; they are all very involved both inside and outside of class. They will work with each student individually to help them and keep everyone on the same page. being such a small school has advantages in registration as well; classes are always available and the process is very quick and painless.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm a pre-medicine major, and my classes are exactly what I expected so far. The teachers are very willing to help, because I have small classes. The smaller class offers more one on one time, which makes the heavy workload no so overwhelming.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Career Day Is Verybusy – had the chance to meet several human resource people from several companies -just not local but from out-of state

4 College Junior

Student Body: Very Outgoing – several international students-got to learn a lot about other cultures-campus is small-located in the country-I found it a good environment to study in,classes are small-there are lots of opportunity for tutors, staff really seem to take an interest in you academic success

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Peer-To-Peer Interaction Good – Early childhood education course, professor was really good at getting class interaction-discussions,etc. A study group was formed which was very helpful, and we really got to know one another-used more handout than text-tests were easy, instructor was very accessible-would take another course with her.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: A Struggle to Get Processed – The Financial Aid department has just hired a new director and it was much needed! Looks like the process will be more of a smooth transition instead of a hassle as it has been the last few years.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Great Learning Experience – Teachers are hands on and focus on student development.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: child psychology i wont to be able to make a difference in every childs life!!

3 College Student

Academic Experience: its really inviting and i feel like im in good hands and they will do their best to see that i succeed in everything that i do!!!!!!

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The finacial aid office advisor was the biggest help that i have recieved. The education i'm gonna recieve is gonna be well worth the money i put in it. The money I will make after my degree in college will pay it off it a month, so its way worth the money i put in. The fees for dorms should be a little less, some people cannot afford to just put money down for a spot in dorms without scholarships.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Freshman Week – Hiwassee College has a week just for freshman, its a week to get the freshman ready for college life. They let the freshamn students swim in the pool they just filled up. It is just a week for freshamn to really start their own college life and enjoy it, instead of just jumping to the real hard college life.
