Hiram College is a residential campus, which means that only seniors are allowed to live off campus, unless you get prior approval due to extenuating circumstances such as a disability, financial hardship, or if your family lives within 50 miles of the College.

Most students do not have a problem living on campus all four years, but if they choose to live off campus, they can either rent an apartment or a house. The Village of Hiram has a few houses that are available to students yearly; they range from well-kept to not-so-nice. The surrounding apartments are sometimes difficult to get into due to demand and sometimes require a waiting list.
