Career Services: There isn't much to say beside that everything I needed to transfer and continue my education was done in a somewhat timely manner.

Student Body: The typical student at Highland is an athlete or is on some type of scholarship. This makes it easy to make friend because chances are good that there will be someone who is similar to you. The college is somewhat diverse but is mostly composed of Caucasian and African-American ethnicities. The school is open to all religious, sexual, and political views and so is the student body.

Academic Experience: During my first year at college i changed my major many times and it was easy to do at Highland. The workload was average and the teachers were understanding of schedule conflicts due to athletics. The classrooms are similar size to a high school setting. The school didn't offer much in the way job opportunities but instead helped more in transferring to a 4-year college

Academic Experience: The class registration process is fairly easy it involves you meeting with an adviser who helps you make decisions based on your future. The workload was manageable which was nice. I found some teachers to be odd in thier grading strategies. My biggest complaint about the academics was there was not always clear communication to the students on what would be on the test.

Overall Experience: The school was beneficial to me because I was unsure about my future going into college. It also allowed me to play football and make connections with many awesome people. The negative aspects of the school was the lack of a college atmosphere. Most people developed cliques early on and didn't associate themselves with other groups. Academically speaking all of the teachers I had were interactive and helped me advance by making coursework difficult but manageable
