3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Being at a satellite campus is difficult to judge the parent university. That being said, HCC Perry could use some athletic/fitness areas along with some campus activities to make students feel more connected.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The wireless access is great with fast speeds and access all over. The worst part is having to pay $5 for a print card, while I understand the point of it I have barely used it so I will not see a return on the card once I have transferred.

Academic Experience: Doing general studies and core classes has been a breeze, the atmosphere of assistance at Highland is awesome.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Working and going to school full time is a large task. Assignments are well thought out and drive the point of the in class learning. I do not feel overwhelmed or unchallenged, just right.

Career Services: My classes have been on path with the degree I am interested in.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is cheap, even for out of state students. The value of the education is also fairly good!

3 College Junior

Facilities: The social scene is okay, almost like a large high school, campus life sometimes boring

4 College Junior

Online Courses: We still interact through discussion boards!

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: flexibility is okay for a community college. i am worried about transferring

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have great FREE resources such as the wellness center and student center along with all activities!

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: printing costs unless you are in SSS. Computer labs seem to be okay, but the connection in the dorms is terrible.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition and financial Aid was amazingly simple. For summer and fall classes I paid out of pocket and was able to afford it all. I was able to pay online and the process was easy. The advisors take time and have patience to help students with financial help and provide all the information and resources they need. The classes are small so there is plenty of one-to-one interaction with the teachers, which, I attain more information from the class and makes me feel as if every cent is worth.

Campus Resources: Computer networking is great at the school. It is a small a school so what it offers is just right for the students. They even offer Mac which is a plus. It helps get students familiarized with the Mac technology. There is computer lab with plenty of computer desk tops available. Wireless connection is easy and it runs great on my laptop. It works great in the main building. I thought it would be slow or drop, but I have not had a single problem, though I do wish the signal was strong enough to have access outside but near the building. The printer is reliable and even when printing in color, the colors are vivid. The schools offers enough for what the students need.

Campus Resources: Resources on the campus, there are not very many. There are three buildings, all mainly for classes. They do offer a computer lab, a small library, and a small lounge area with comfortable couches and tables and chairs. One may get snack, beverages, and have a place to relax. There is a park near by the campus so if one wanted to get athletic exercise, they may go there.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The diversity of my school is like any other school, meaning all the student-athletes hangout together for each sport team and the other students are together.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I had a hyber class which was online but we met once a week, I would say it was different because it was first time having one but I liked that I could kind of learn at my own pace and it was pretty easy after awhile.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My financial aid was messed up and I had to pay a lot of money out of pocket that I thought my football scholarship was going to cover and they didn't notify me until it was late.

3 College Senior

Facilities: What makes the school unique is the mix of people from different locations placed in small town America

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The athletic facilities for students and student athletes are great. The the libraries and campus actives are above average for the size of the college.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: The computer labs and printing on campus was great. The wireless network was always available but is very slow

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The teachers do a great job of working around you activities. All of my credits with transfer easily to my next college.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I didn't deal much in the financial aid department, but I can say that the school is very cost effective. Every student I met at college was receiving some type of scholarship that made an already cheap education more affordable.
