Facilities: The campus is beautiful and there is always something for us to do on campus, along with free transportation to off campus events.

Drug Safety: The moment someone is aware that drugs are being used, it is taken care of, which I love.

Computers: There are many types of computers that are available to students depending on what software the student needs for assignments. Printing is unlimited and free, even in color. The wi-fi is free and can be activated anywhere on campus. There is no need for a personal printer, but there is need for a personal computer for class.

Health & Safety: Health and safety are highly rated because the service is amazing. There are security poles located everywhere on campus for safety concerns. All of the staff are willing to help students 24/7 and I believe that is amazing because as a student if I ever am in danger I have confidence that I can get assistance as soon as possible.

Campus Housing: I live in a dorm building called Blessing. It is an apartment style dorm containing four bedrooms, two baths, and a full kitchen and living room. It is in excellent condition and if there is ever an issue maintenance comes right up. The amenities are fantastic. We have multiple gyms, courts, movie theatre, arcade, etc located on campus. The social atmosphere is great even though we are a small private college. The cost is pricy but for everything offered at the school it seems worth it to me.

Nightlife: At my school there is a lot of nightlife going on. There are multiple sporting games going on that are either located on campus or the school provides transportation to. We have hourly shuttles that pretty much take students where ever they want to go locally. There are many clubs in the area for underage college students that I feel completely safe in. Overall High Point University offers a lot of night life and transportation to go off campus somewhere.

Campus Housing: The housing on campus is INCREDIBLE! Everything is newly built and all the options offer space and convenience. Almost better than living at home to some degree.

Nightlife: Off campus there are really only one or two bars to go to. They are alright if you have money to spend on it but most people end up just staying on campus to nightlife.

Greek Life: Greek life is huge on campus. Highly advised to join it, there are many different options depending on who you get along with. There is the greek circle on campus which is all the greek housing. The greek houses are new and very large nice houses. Well maintained and greek circle has its own pool

Drug Safety: There are plenty of students who drink and do drugs and then there are also those who don't. Mostly everyone drinks but for drugs other than alcohol there are plenty of students who do other drugs but they don't do it out in the open so if you don't want to be a part of it you don't have to.

Overall, the HPU experience is nothing less than “extraordinary." Most students are happy to be attending such a fantastic school and are actually sad to be going home at breaks. The campus has such a welcoming atmosphere that students feel that they are at home no matter how far they have to travel to get there. Students become so involved with friends, clubs, sports, and organizations on campus that leaving all of that to go home is sad for a lot of students. When it comes to preparing students for the future, High Point gives them every opportunity, and all they have to do is take it. High Point produces well-rounded students who are prepared to enter graduate school or the job market as soon as they graduate. With a focus on a real world experience in the University's education, students leave HPU with the competence to jump into the workforce. Through internships and hands-on classroom work, students can feel confident they have the skills to succeed.

High Point is different from so many other schools because it is a small school with large-school facilities. The University has the resources of big schools, but the friendly and caring atmosphere and personal attention of a smaller institution. Professors know students by name and take an interest with what they are doing in and out of the classroom. High Point values a student's whole education, not what is just limited to the classroom. The professors and administration work on molding students not just academically, but also instilling in them a sense of generosity, self-awareness, and kindness toward their environment and fellow man.
