Campus Resources: The kitchen have just about everything that you would need in any type of kitchen, from a commercial kitchen to a little bakers kitchen. All the equipment is keep very well maintained and clean. if there is ever an issue with equipment, the right person to get a hold of is called right away. The library has a ton of resources. Another cool thing about the library is that if you need a book that is at a different campus it can get ordered in.

Campus Resources: I will be honest, the internet access on the computers in the lab is not the greatest at all. I can sit there for 2-3 minutes just waiting on either internet explorer or Google to load so I can do some researching or check my email. I know I am not the only student who deals with this issue.

Academic Experience: I have never been so excited and inspired to go to school and expand my knowledge. I have been alot more involved and have done a lot of volunteer work with the school. When you go into a degree you really have a passion and a drive for, it really does makes a world of a differeence in how much you learn and how fast time goes by. I can't believe it is already the end of my first term, and 5 more to go!

Academic Flexibility: I have really enjoyed my first semester so far. All the text that is required for us to read and study help out alot with becoming a better person an student. This first semester has really helped me better be prepared and be more professional for my future and the rest of my program. The class times go from 10am to 3:30pm, there was an option to sign up for the 6:30 class, but the 10 worked out better for me. but, if you need to go to the 6:30 one day because you may have to leave school early, if you let your teachers know ahead of time, you can switch.

Student Body: There is a wide range of people and different characters at school. I honestly thought there was going to be alot more older people, majority are 18-24. Yes there are come older people, I just wasn't expecting so many younger students. I am a pretty friendly person at school and I like to smile at just about every one. But, one thing I do not take part in, is partying with students or at dorms. I am kicking myself into gear and I don't want to let a "partying" lifestyle bring me down. After my second week of school there was a group of females in a different starting class then mine talking about how crazy there night was the night before, I just have no interest in that. But, anywhere you go there are going to be those people or students who really enjoy to have a real good time. Not saying I don't like to have fun and hang out, just in moderation, right timing, and with a good crowd. I am going to school to better my education and my future, along with my self personally. Making friends is a plus in the process.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My school focuses a lot on professionalism and achieving your goals. Our of the four other colleges I have attended, this is by far the best. Each and every instructor and chef has compassion and hope for each student who walks through the front doors each day. I feel like I am getting way more than my moneys worth so far from this school. I am really enjoying the curriculum and how it is structure. Even though I may still only be in "culinary kindergarten," I still have seen a huge difference between my current schools and others I have gone to or visited.

Facilities: I really enjoy how open each kitchen is and how clean it all is. Also, our school isn't huge, so it is really easy to get to one class to the next without traffic in the hallways at all. The building is only 4 years old, but it still looks like it was just opened. The students and facility help keep the school clean and do our part to clean up our own messes. In the kitchens there is just about any piece of equipment that you would think you would need or want in a kitchen. From the table top mixer to the huge wok. The way the school is set up is very professional and makes senese with the flow.

Tuition & Financial Aid: they pack everything you need into a 18 month course and cover everything that you would work with in the future. Everyone working with tuition is very nice and try their hardest to get the tuition paid off with the least amount of stress even going beyond to get you a grant that you might have been denied for

Academic Flexibility: I love this school and the community does too. There are places around Saint Louis that will only hire from CISL because of the quality of people the school produces.
