4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Many in my program are continuing to work and have had some conflicts with original schedules but we've been able to reschedule around these times.

College Senior

Career Services: I will be using career services soon but I have not yet contacted them.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Those of us that have made it to the second year are really committed to our own success both together and separately.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: This is a community college so it doesn't have a super wide variety of majors but what it does offer they do well.

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: For less than most people spend on a new car I will have an Associates in a field that is stable and growing in my area.

College Senior

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses offered through my school.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: My teachers really care about my success and are willing to go the extra mile.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: This is a community college so it works for entry level tech careers where you will continue to learn on the job.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The student body is nothing spectacular but there is ownership of the school and our experiences.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school has a large amount of space available for studying via the library and other spaces around campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm not sure if I would choose the same school again, but I am not disappointed with the education I am getting.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm studying to be a pharmacy technician, so all of my classes are either titled pharmacy something, Biology, or is a general like English. The workload is a lot, but it is so that we will be ready for our two summer internships, and the teacher makes it very easy to understand and remember.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The college has concerts and shows for the students for free, while the community will have to pay for them. The concerts are awesome as we had Nicholas David and Home Free last semester, and the school as free bowling once a month that lets everyone let off some steam.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The housing is okay, but it has very unreliable wireless. The rooms are nice as they are two bedrooms with two beds in each along with a bathroom connected to each bedroom, and there is a furnished living room and kitchen between the bedrooms.

5 College Junior

Career Services: My program that I'm in requires two internships, and my teacher arranges them, but she also helps us find jobs in the our career to work while we are still in college. It is helpful because we can put into practice what we learn in class.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The college mainly as Friday's off, so students can get help, and there is a academic center that is very helpful if you can find a tutor. There are lots of computer labs also that are open the the student body so people can work on campus or if they don't have a computer they have access to one.

5 College Junior

Student Body: With lots of the student body in technical programs, it is very easy to find other people taking all the same classes as you.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very standard for a public college and it has upstanding professors, but I had out of state tuition so it was slightly higher priced than if I had in state tuition.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: The online courses are mainly hybrid courses with some face to face time. This makes asking questions and getting help much easier. Most courses at HCC are for technical programs so the classes are very specific in what they teach, so that it will be applicable to the jobs we are going into.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I have known many people to have some trouble with transferring credits.

3 College Junior

Facilities: I haven't noticed anything especially unique and don't live on campus, but I have really made many friends while I have been there so that's nice.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Since I am just going for my AA degree right now, I have to take some classes that seem kind of unnecessary for when I move on to a bigger college and that stinks because it's a general spread of ALL subjects, even though when I move on I will be doing a specific dentistry program.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are great. The curriculum and workload has been straightforward and easy to handle. The advisors helping with the registration process are always eager to help.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My overall experience at Hibbing Community College has been a great one. It's a friendly environment for socialization, and I have loved all of my teachers/classes so far. It has been a good fit for me!

3 College Junior

Career Services: My school has a flexible and convenient work study program that I would love to do, but since I am a post secondary student I do not qualify.
