Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid was great. I got a lot of help where necedad.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I'm getting my MOA which stands for medical office administration and it seems promising, I do like help and talking to people so it seems like a good fit.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Its all really medical, criminal, and business that's it there's honestly not much to choose from.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I do like the school because of the teachers and small classes but its the money that's the problem because I can't afford it and I know I'm going to be in debt for a long while.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Everyone just minds there own business really. Its like just wanted to get it over with.

3 College Senior

Career Services: They keep up with updating grades so its okay.

1 College Senior

Online Courses: They charge you extra for one and for two they make the online classes so complicated there are really hard to do.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: We only have a library and they are open pretty late but its hard to get help when you need it.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: You can either have to option of day or night and sometimes there is only one class at a certain time so you get stuck with it regardless if you have a job because you have no choice to change it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Everything is way to expensive and when you buy your books they can be over 300 dollars for just one book and that can really put a person in debt. Oh and then you can't even return your book if its open. Then if you want to sell your books back a person will give you like 20 dollars a book its such a rip off. Then if you try to sell them elsewhere like on the internet no one wants them so you are stuck with a huge pile of books in your room like I am.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Its a small school and small classes which is nice but everything is just way over priced.

2 College Junior

Student Body: There really isn't any student body at Heald.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: At the LLRC at school, they have high speed internet. What I like about that is that they have blocked all social media websites from the computer. So nobody is in there just wasting time, everyone is doing work that is school related. Printing is also available there in the LLRC

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition for Heald is $20,000. They have financial aid and payment plan options to help you out. Something that I didn't like was that when I went to go do my financial aid process, the lady had already signed me up for 2 loans without even telling me what the cost is or asking me what I can afford. Turns out I only took out 1 loan. My mother taught me at a young age how important it is to save money and how to manage your money. I took out my loan all by myself without my mother cosigning for me and I am making my monthly payments all on my own thanks to her teaching me how to manage. My tips would be making a list of bills that you have for every month, calculating how much your two paychecks for the month will add up to, and seeing how much money you have leftover. With the leftover money, you set some for what I like to call "fun stuff" and the rest aside in your savings.

Academic Experience: I haven't had the opportunity yet to do the internship for my school but I have seen pictures and heard stories. My school places students in an internship where they have to do what their major is. For example, my major is medical assisting so they will place me in a hospital or clinic where I do what a medical assistant would do. Also, another cool thing about my college is that all the teachers have done what they teach, professionally. I address my teachers as "Doctor" because they have a masters or Phd or sometimes even both.

Academic Experience: At Heald, we all have to dress up in what our major is. So since my major is Medical Assisting, I have to wear scrubs to school. If your major is business, you have to wear business attire. The staff at Heald really enforces the dress code and I think that's really good. At first, I didn't really like wearing scrubs because I felt like I was walking around in pajamas but now I see that this is what I'm going to be wearing so I might as well get used to it. You also always have to have your student ID on you. I like that too because I wouldn't want weirdos walking around the college.
