Tuition & Financial Aid: I believe my current school's tuition is worth its cost. The financial aid process is so simple they make sure that they guide you through it step by step. They make sure you understand what is expected. My experience with the financial office was superb. Everything was explained to me in detail and they made sure that I understood what would be expected of me. I would recommend anyone to Heald College. Tips for an easy breezy financial aid experience at Heald College, San Francisco, ask questions and just listen. They are better than All State. You are definitely in the best hands.

Career Services: I love the career services at Heald College. Thanks to them, I was able to obtain a position with a law firm before I finished my last quarter for my A.A.S.

I feel that I could go to my adviser with any problem and she will help me think of ways to handle the situation.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had some difficulty with financial aid, but throughout my experience with financial aid has been quite pleasant.

I also, believe that if I had attended a community college, I would not have been able to receive financial aid, so this has truly helped me a great deal with the expenses of books, housing, and other school related expenses.

Campus Resources: Our computer lab and classrooms are equipped with the latest software. It enables the students to work on the programs that will be used in their field of study. Sometimes there is an issue getting on the network with a laptop, but once the issue has been resolved, it is simple.

Students do not need their own computers for class, as there are classrooms set up with computers and all the programs necessary for the students.

Campus Resources: We do not have any athletics. But our resource center goes above and beyond what the norm is for a small college.

Campus Resources: Heald has a Learning Resource Center equipped with computers, books to loan students, professional staff and student mentors.

The instructors that I have had in the past are fantastic; they know the subject they are teaching and are very knowledgeable.

We also, have resources for students who are going through a transition in their lives, such as homelessness, abuse, and financial assistance.

Student Body: There are some students who are very serious about their education, but then there are those who do not care one way or the other. I also feel that some are there just for the social interaction with other people. As for me, I study hard to accomplish my goals and produce excellent grades.

Campus Resources: Wifi and the computer network are all functioning. At times it tends to be slow. There isn't a lot of places to park if you are commuting by personal car. The teachers here are very patient and understanding, as well as administration. Teachers update their gradebooks daily therefore allowing easier access to your current grade.

Career Services: I have yet to graduate but the career services has already helped me out tremendously. They offer a part time job program where they help the individual find surviving jobs while they go to school. Not only do they help you after college but they assist you throughout. They help you with workshops and mock interviews. It's a great thing they do.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason why I chose this school was because how understanding they were of my situation. They cater to every persons needs and wants because not all are the same. They motivate you to do the best you could possible do.

Student Body: I like the school overall, I´ve attended a host of community colleges before Heald and I am most impressed with Heald. Everything that the commercial says about the school is true, the entire staff pushes for their students to succeed and if you need tutors their also there to help you succeed. I love Heald College and I pray they have added BA courses so that I can continue ith them.

Career Services: I haven't graduated yet but compared to my previous experience at another college, they are more connected with you in terms of placing you in a job during and after college. Heald has a pt/ft job program where (after you sign up), all you need to do as a student is to select the jobs you want from the email notifications of job openings you receive, and respond to those. The career services dept. also offers mock interviews and resume writing help.

Academic Experience: Professors all have their different teaching techniques but at the end of the day, they are rooting for your success.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Heald College – the education I'm getting is worth the money I'm paying. i have a little bid of financial aid, I wish the government could help students more on education because knowledge should be free not pay for it.

Overall Experience: My Experience at Heald College – My experience at Heald has been surprisingly pleasant. I had not been in school for more than 35 years. I was able to ease back into the routine of attending school and studying.

The school provided a Learning Resource Center where we are to study anytime. This has proven beneficial when I had little time to study outside of school. I have been able to prepare papers and print assignment which as contributed to maintaining a high GPA.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility at Heald – For the most part, Heald College has been very flexible in planning my class schedules. A couple of times, I wish I had had all classes on one day/twice a week. However, I was scheduled one class each day.

I have not had to drop and change classes since attending Heald. My experience has been very pleasant.

Career Services: Career Center – Heald is very helpful when it comes to careers. They have days where possible employers come to school for fairs and sometimes they are just around the school. The center also looks for a job when you graduate their AAS program.
