HACC's school pride is everywhere. Fliers get placed on cafeteria tables and bulletin boards, reminders and updates sent in emails, and even posters cover the hallways begging for attendance. There isn’t a large amount of students that consistently respond, but that’s mainly because HACC has a lot of students that can barely fit enough time into their lives for their classes. As a result, the school doesn’t have a large crowd participating in extracurricular activities. The College prides itself in embracing diversity, providing the best education to every student, and becoming the stepping stone to further a student's education.
Despite these obstacles, HACC has a strong Student Government Association (SGA) and recruits qualified students to join Phi Theta Kappa. There are other clubs that are more major specific, too, such as the Wildwood Journal, drama club, and Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (CODA), just to name a few. Given that HACC’s students have diverse ages, lives, and schedules, the school still finds a way to keep its extracurricular activities alive and flourishing every year.
