4 College Student

Campus Resources at Harrisburg Area Community College - Gettysburg: All the resources here are good. I do wish we had athletic centers and more diverse activities, however.

3 College Student

Campus Resources at Harrisburg Area Community College - Gettysburg: The network goes down frequently. Computers are widely available, and there are many labs. When the network is working it is normally fast. Wireless access is great though!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at Harrisburg Area Community College - Harrisburg: For a small campus the library is decent, but I think the athletic center is too small.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources at Harrisburg Area Community College - Harrisburg: I personally think this area could use some improvement.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources at Harrisburg Area Community College - Harrisburg: There are many perks to attending HACC. Gym and pool access, great education and free resources.

HACC’s main Harrisburg campus is beautifully landscaped, with every plant and tree labeled for anyone interested in knowing. The staff is always on the ball with cleanliness inside the buildings as well as outside and around campus. The student center is spacious, with lots of seating and a wide range of hot food choices and a salad bar in the cafeteria. In fact, they just put in a Subway.

On a more educational level, HACC also provides free tutoring services to all enrolled students, which receives high praise on all fronts. There is also a $10 quota used for printing, available from tuition and fees for each student. Many students will often bring computers or other helpful devices onto campus for their own personal use; however, the school provides an ample amount of computers available to any student. Along with the computer lab, there are also computers within the tutoring labs and library. The library on the Harrisburg campus is exceptionally staffed with helpful and knowledgeable people willing to help any student. It’s a great place to study quietly and has quite a selection of books and electronic resources, as well. This is especially the case during midterms and finals, when the tutoring and computer labs are busy helping students. When it comes to technical difficulties, they are few and far between. They typically occur in the beginning of each semester, due to the rush of sudden activity both on campus and in the online courses. These are expected and resolved quickly in very little time. HACC has avid online students who have been attending for years and can attest to the proficiency of HACC’s IT team.
