Academic Experience: Since my college is affiliated to several 4 year universities so the HACC students have about the same workload as the students that are attending 4 year school.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: The main problem I am seeing is that schools are not supporting teachers as much as they should. Teachers are scared that they will get fired and they are mostly adjunct. I also have a problem with how my school is using the financial aid that the government has given them for the year. According to the US Government, I should have received $5,500 in grant money. My school decided that I should only receive $2,300. They are making me go into debt unnecessarily and for credit that they chose not to transfer from my old school. I had 20 credits from my old school and 3 writing courses and they only chose to transfer the middle ranked class. I am pretty upset with them but I can't say more to them without risking expulsion since every financial aid counselor knows my name and case because the US department of education considers everyone under 24 still a child even though I haven't lived with my dad for over 5 years.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am in my second term there. There is a lot offered. However, I knew kids that committed suicide because of the debt and it is stressful. Worrying about the money is harder than worrying about the classes and I am full time student with a part time job.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I think the program is great because I get to learn a lot about the children.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I had a disagreement with a professor on how she does things to students who don't understand the way she describes things. Overall, the school process is very easy.
