4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I mostly took my gen eds, but I was able to take electives in the fields of business and marketing. The workload was never too much for me.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Most of the professor at Harper are great and seem to like their jobs. The registration process is easy to use, and there are many opportunities available. Students can study abroad and High School students can take college level course during their senior year.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I will be starting the nursing program very soon. Although we already have assigned readings due on the first day of class, I think we all know the program is going to be challenging yet stimulating at the same time. The professors have posted announcements, syllabi and lecture notes in advance. Although I definitely need some clarification on a some things, I appreciate the fact that there are no surprises. All the information for each class is posted. It is our responsibility as students to read the information in advance so we can ask questions when classes begin.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am starting the nursing program in a few days. My experience leading up to the program has been great. All of the advisors I have met with have been super helpful and pretty straightforward. I feel as though if you seek out the help you need, it's there. The class registration process has always been straightforward. I always try to register as soon as I can in order to get the classes I want and need. With the nursing program, they offered the nursing students priority registration, so that worked out wonderfully. All of my professors so far have posted syllabi in advance and always go over them thoroughly. All the information is laid out for students to read and know. The professors will clarify any concerns or questions if necessary.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Having hands on experience in the medical field is not only necessary but extremely beneficial to the Certified Nursing Assistant program offered at Harper. The Certified Nursing Assistant program gives students an edge when looking for a job because it is so in depth. The information from one class carries over to the next class cutting down on the overall workload.
