4 College Junior

Overall Experience: As an online student I found it hard to find the information I needed. The only communication with administrators is by email

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Typical of any educational institution, some of the professors are better than others both in course structure and communication

College Junior

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Curriculum and choose of elective is limited but adequate

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My major will provide me with the opportunity to have a very rewarding career. The particum/internship program is invaluable in acquiring hands on experience

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are a number of programs that will lead to a entry level career in very specific fields, while allowing the opportunity to continue to further your education

4 College Junior

Student Body: Student body is very diverse. Many students face a variety of challenges and continue to strive to do their best

Online Courses: Flexibility allows freedom to arrange daily schedule as needed. Interaction with other students varies based on how instructors structure the course.

Student Body: Harcum is a specialty college, so students have to work together because each major at some point in time requires hands on training. We need each others help for practice and final exams, etc.

The college is multi-cultured, so you do have plenty of opportunities to learn about other cultures too. The diversity is definitely a plus in my opinion.

Academic Flexibility: Harcum is a special interest college, so it's going to be hard. It is very fast paced; there's no flexibility because each course is a building block for the next course. And, God forbid you receive a non passing grade. You either have to take in the summer (if it's offered which mine wasn't) or find a college that offers it during the summer.

And, because Harcum is a small sized college, you don't have the luxury of picking a different Professor if you don't like the one you have. You are stuck with that bad Professor... and will probably have the same bad Professor for more than one course.

Campus Resources: One of the things i like most about my school is the COMMUTERS lounge, you never get judged for taking a quick nap.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is almost always a computer available and printing is free. However, they could update their computer systems.

3 College Junior

Facilities: I love my school because it is a great place to learn and earn my degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They transferred over all my core classes/ degree requirements and i am even taking a summer class at a community college this summer, to save money, that they will transfer over when i return in the fall.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Every thing is great, probably yes in some areas they need to improve but they provide us with the knowledge and opportunities to farther our education. It is up to me as the student to take full advantage of the opportunities and to advance on my own.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: In this area the school truly gets an A plus. The professors are great, class registration is easy, the workload is tough but also rewarding.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm sure the cost of tuition is not bad for most people, but i grew up poor with a single mother and i work a part time job for minimum wage and the thought of the debt that i will have accumulated after college is scary. However to me, the importance of earning this degree out weighs the financial burden. So, in my opinion yes the tuition is worth the education

College Junior

Online Courses: The college i am getting a degree at does not offer online courses, that i am aware of. However, i have taken one online class at Delaware county community college and i feel as though i learned a lot.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is diverse and accepting of all types of people.

Overall Experience: I am an adult student returning to school after many years.

The work is demanding; lots of reading and studying. Harcum is adult-friendly, working adults,

I'm please they are thinking of the older generation....So far I doing well, I'm on the dean list,

There are a lot of talented and smart people in these classrooms.....an for an old guy like

but a lot smarter now......
