Off-Campus Dining: There's only a few places to eat that are off campus, and by off campus I mean literally right across the stree from the university library. On the bright side, you don't have to walk far for food if you need it. On the downside, your pockets might be feeling empty after you get your food, from the same very small handful of places you've been eating from all year long. Oh, and if you were hoping for a late night snack, your options are narrowed down to overly priced chicken wings or a much longer walk downtown to the local 7-11.

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining options at my school include those average fast food restaurants that are convenient to college students.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many late night options to enjoy, especially when you're out studying late. Pizza Hut, Subway, Wing Zone, and multiple chinese food restaurants. The harbors shopping center holds a few options that're easy to reach. In fact, they are right across the street from the campus. Other food options are either right across the bridge, or you can call for a delivery. It's very easy to find a place to get food no matter what time of day.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: wish there were more options, you get tired of eating the same food all the time.

Off-campus dining is very diverse. Hampton University is within minutes from almost every fast food or chain restaurant you can think of, such as Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday. And let's not forget that Hampton is right at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, meaning some of the best seafood around. Eating off campus is very popular among on- and off-campus students. Because the Hampton area is primarily known for the school, and the school brings many students and visitors, many restaurants are continuing to be built. This allows for several job opportunities for the students, as well. When students are really looking to spend some cash on a really fancy dinner, there are the waterfront restaurants, and one can always hop over to Downtown Norfolk for the high-class places. But when staying in Hampton, there is a vast selection for whatever you may have a taste for, and the prices are rather reasonable. Being within minutes from some of the most popular food chains and eating spots around, off-campus dining is highly coveted by HU students.
