Campus Dining: Food at Grinnell is generally pretty good. Despite there only being one dining hall, they work hard to bring variety to the meals, and you can always find something you want to eat. In addition, having one dining hall really helps campus community, as the Dhall serves as a very central, joining place for Grinnell. There are two or three other on campus options, but i usually stick to the dining hall for meals.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: We have a really wonderful dining hall on campus. There are plenty of options for any kind of diet (vegetarian, vegan, Halal, Kosher, gluten-free, etc). We only have one dining hall, but it has many options. Students are also able to get "Outtakes" at the grille in place of a meal in the Dining Hall.

Campus Dining: The menu is varied and has different options in case you don't like one type of food.

3 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The Dhall food is good, it just gets kind of repetitive and old sometimes. However, it is buffet style, and you get some good options like Halal foods, Stir Fry, and other options. But if you are looking for really good ethnic food, I feel bad for you, because you are not going to get that here @ Grinnell.

The dining hall offers a great deal of variety and accommodates various types of cuisines, dietary restrictions, and generally aims for nutrition. Additionally, the Spencer Grill offers Out Takes for those students in a rush or busy cramming. Out Takes uses a meal that would have been valid at the dining hall, but it give you chips, cookies, a drink, and a vegetarian or non-vegetarian entrée.

Other than the limited hours, Marketplace offers a couple of decent dining options. The Spencer Grill is a café where you can get sandwiches, quesadillas, Easy Mac, and anything that may help you through the next hour of studying. Bob's Underground Café is another venue where you can get late-night bagels, muffins, and coffee. Grinnell provides you with nutritional dining options mainly because in the town there is only one decent Chinese restaurant, a few Mexican options, and a surfeit of deliciously unhealthy fast food.
