Academics: The music business department is pretty good. The professor is super involved and makes her classes relevant and fun. There are mandatory internships, and there are several ways to get experience right on campus. A big thing for Greenville College is being involved in AgapeFest.

College Junior

Athletics: I'm not too into sports, so I haven't really paid attention.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Greenville policies really aren't that bad, but people like to complain about them. There is a strict policy against alcohol and drugs, cohabitation, and even foul language (although that rule is easily overlooked).

Guys & Girls: There are a lot of interesting people and diversity in this area. Some people complain about the "Greenville Goggles" that make less-than-average people seem better than they are-- but don't listen to that.

Weather: Midwest weather can be a bit finicky-- one moment the day is beautiful, the next moment, the weather's taken a turn for the worst. Winters aren't fun, but other than that, it's okay.

Off-Campus Housing: The dorms aren't trashy, but some need to be renovated, and there needs to be more options. You must live on campus and there's a pretty standard cost for it.

Local Atmosphere: Greenville is a small town. It has basic fast food places and some mom and pop restaurants. There are several thrift stores. There is also a local coffee shop and a movie theatre that college students like to frequent.

Computers: I've seen better, but the technology at Greenville is okay. There are a few computer labs and printers, but sometimes the computers are slow or the printers are out of paper, which is frustrating when you're on a time crunch. It is best to have a personal computer on campus.

Drug Safety: I haven't personally been involved or influenced by the drug scene on campus, but I am aware that it does happen.

2 College Junior

Diversity: Most of the students are white Americans. We definitely need more international students and more ethnicities represented. As a Christian school, it predominantly consists of Christians, although there are a few other religions. Political views are fairly widespread. Not sure about sexual orientation, but it isn't talked about much here.

Nightlife: There is nothing to do in Greenville past 4 in the afternoon. Sometimes there are fun campus events, like Blackroom Cafe, but other than that, there's not a lot to choose from.
