2 College Sophomore

Career Services: This branch of the college is lacking in all of these areas..

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's average here; nothing too social or involved. It's just independent here.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are literally no resources here.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: All of the technology is pretty fast and reliable.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There's nothing unique about my major here at GBC.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The registration process is some what messy, and careless. The professors are careless as well.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Depending on the class, I feel the teacher cares more then the teachers that I see everyday.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The school has been pretty good with me; I haven't had any major issues that are worth complaining about.

1 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I haven't personally had any issues with the financial aid here but I had a friend who got screwed over by the financial aid here and they made her pay it all back or they wouldn't allow her to take classes here anymore. I understand there's issues within departments, but it was their mistake and they refused to make up for anything.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: This location of the college isn't the greatest. The people are semi-friendly but it's hard to make friends. There isn't a variety of religion or ethnicity; it's very bland.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: I've only taken one class online and it was Spanish. The instructor would email us regularly to remind us of assignments and upcoming tests. The only real problems i have with online is when I had a question that needed to be answered right away it was hard because i would have to send her an email and wait for a response so doing an assignment would take a lot longer because I would have to sit and wait. Also the teacher is not there to explain the assignments and how they need to be done so some were very confusing and hard to understand.

Campus Resources: We have no sports teams or athletic centers, we do have a student center as mentioned above it offers computers to do homework or check grades and print we are allowed to print for free as long as we are moderate with what we print and it has to be for school. And also as mentioned earlier we have no library.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: We have two computer labs, one is full of computers just rows and rows students can go in and type essays or check grades. Our other lab is more of a student center it has computers but not as many and it has a few desks with people who will tutor for any subject you are struggling in.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition price is very reasonable compared to other schools and universities that charge an arm and a leg to take one class. Most of the classes I've taken are worth the money I've learned a lot that I know will help me further my career.

2 College Freshman

Facilities: Where my school is located it is very tiny so no housing is offered. If you live out of town but want to attend GBC then you either need to find your own place to live or commute. i had two girls in one of my classes and they traveled every single day just to come to school. We have no library. A very tiny student center to get help. Parking is scarce especially since GBC is located right across from the high school so they are always taking our parking as well. And there is NO sports team making GBC a place just for academics, no fun.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The staff in the main office are great they are always available to help you if you have any questions regarding credits, transcripts or classes or basically anything you need. If you really want to take certain classes they will try to make a schedule that works best for everyone even if it means taking classes online. Most of the teachers are awesome they really care about the students and want to make sure they are learning the material except one teacher. She was awful she always gave students the same score on everything and the score was always average making it nearly impossible to pass her class with an A.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I'm not really sure about any post-grad services offered at my school.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The overall experience hasn't been to bad since I'm a freshman going to a small college to start out allows me to get used to the ropes of college and how different they are from high school. The small campus allows me to get familiar with the school easier making it easy for me not to get lost and be on time to school. I also like the school because most of the teachers are great and really care about the students and tuition is a lot cheaper than other schools which is always nice for students who are barely figuring out the real world and how to function on their own. I would choose my school again if I could do it all over again just because of what I mentioned above it gives students the feeling of a college environment without the large overwhelming campus and like I said tuition is cheap compared to other colleges and universities.

College Freshman

Student Body: The school I attend is a small branch from a college in a different city so our student body is mostly in the other town. The small student body that we have at our school though does try to provide coffee or snacks for students that have early classes they try to have contests and make things fun but it's not that great. The diversity is absolutely zero, the two people from the student body at my school are related.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The campus is small so it's easy to get from class to class but it also limits the amount of courses with live teachers rather than the ones on the screen that are in different cities or towns. We have no sports teams which make it hard to get involved and have fun around the school.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Mentioned earlier the amount of courses is limited especially if there isn't enough people to sign up for a certain class they will cancel it which isn't fair for the people who already signed up and wanted to take the class. I do like smaller classes as well though because you can develop a student to teacher relationship so teachers seem to care more about their students rather than it just being another head in the classroom.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I would like to have more options for classes that would apply to my degree. Some classes that I want to take offer no credits. I like my teachers, they are very helpful and encouraging. Registering for classes was done online and I found it easy to set up my schedule.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The class schedule dates are great, I only wish they had more classes to choose from.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not really had the chance to use the career services here at the college. I cannot give them a grade when I have not experienced the chance.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I am still a student so I do not any career services.
