There are currently four main on-campus dining areas: The Connection, The Commons, Kirkhof Center, and Kleiner Commons. Each of the facilities has a deli, healthy option, pizza, and a few unique stations. The Commons has the most dining options, including an all-you-can-eat-buffet and a bagel shop. There are also four convenience stores ("C-Stores") around campus; two are in classroom buildings, which are much appreciated by students with three-hour classes. Meal plans range from 19 meals per week to 40 per semester, and each meal includes an entrée, side, and pop or milk. The C-Stores offer breakfast options that include juice, but juice is not included with a meal at any other dining areas.
The food on campus is fresh and generally considered good by students, although some options can become boring and repetitive if a student eats in the same area for nearly every meal. There are vegetarian options at each dining area, and many offer vegan selections, as well. Grand Valley's golf course has a public restaurant that is expensive but accepts Debit Dollars and is occasionally worth the money. While the food is good, eating off campus a few times a month is fun and gives students a break from campus food.
