The food on campus is one of the students’ biggest disappointments with Grambling State University. Students come to GSU from all over the US and across the globe only to be let down by the campus food. Sometimes the food is good and up to standards, but this is a rare occasion. Overall, students say they generally feel that a lot can be done to improve the food experience.
Campus dining at Grambling State is run and managed by the private catering company Aramark. The main cafeteria on campus is called McCall Dining Hall—this is where most students go to eat. McCall offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the general meals times. On weekends, it is only open until 6 p.m., but Tiger Express, the food court on campus, is open until 10 p.m. every night. Other dining options at GSU include Cash Street, which is a delivery service, and C-Stores.
