There are several party venues, and Plush is 5 minutes from campus. Other than that, the Yard is always a fun place to be between classes. You’ll regularly see the fraternities and sororities hanging out on the Yard and there will sometimes even be a stroll off. There are dorm parties every weekend, as well as off-campus parties. However, sometimes you’ll need to drive a bit, so a car is a necessity.
Some people say Grambling State is horrible because of its location, but if you know the right people who can tell you where all the fun is and if you have a form of transportation, you’ll be fine.
