4 College Senior

Health & Safety: There have been minor security issues on campus, but in general i feel safe on campus and would not feel uncomfortable walking alone on campus at night.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus Safety is amazing. They have come to the rescue of many students in jump starting cars, and helping them get inside when the keys are locked in. Early in the year my roommate was hurt playing kickball and Campus Safety was there almost immediately to make sure she was okay to move and then transported her to MedStat, our medical clinic.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I know that our campus safety officers are always just a look or call away. Always willing to help and very understanding they are there even when your mother calls freaking out about you not answering your phone in the last five minutes - at one in the morning.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Campus Safety Officers can be seen all over campus. If by some rare chance you cannot see one, there are emergency contact towers placed all over campus. There are fire and tornado drills each semester, and hall meetings (which frequently go over safety regulations) roughly once a month. There is a number for the campus safety office that students can use to contact an officer to escort them across campus in the evenings. The campus crime level is small and issues are immediately dealt with. Consequences are clear and enforced, discouraging most from attempting crime. The volunteer fire department is right across the street from campus, and they are very willing to help.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Since Grace is a Christian college, crime is low. I have never felt in danger at Grace College. Campus safety simply has to deal with the rambunctious students who attempt to pull pranks and/or climb roofs, and they do a fairly decent job at preventing and dealing with these situations. I do not usually lock my door, and have never felt that my possessions were in danger of being stolen.
