Campus Dining: The best part about the dining halls are the crazy hours they keep. North Ave would stay open until 2am during school nights for a majority of the year, and this was great for getting some last minute studying done while grabbing a cup of coffee at the same time. Even though the dining hall was open so late, the options would be taken away by 8:30-9:00pm which was hard to work around with some of my extracurricular activities, so more times that not I would be left eating cereal, or grilled cheese instead of regular dinner options. The dining hall staff is amazing though, the nicest part of the dining hall was having 24 hours of food options during dead week, and testing. This really helped when I couldn't shop for myself.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food on east campus is decent. On west campus the dining (Woodruff) is atrocious.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food isn't great and a lot of people hate it but my dad was a horrible cook at home so I don't mind it that much. Meal plans are overpriced.

Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: I have never used on campus dining. I always cook for myself, even when I've lived on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Relatively good food, open early mornings to late nights, and lots of variety

While the dining halls are definitely no place to take a date, or anyone for that matter, to have a nice meal, they are adequate for everyday use. Georgia Tech is served by two dining halls, Brittain and Woodruff, which are located at opposite ends of the campus. The quality of the food has improved steadily over the last five years. Breakfast food is always your best bet at these dining halls, and students are free to make their own sandwiches and salads at the salad bar, if they choose to do so.

For a satisfying lunch or breakfast with a professor, friend, coworker, or anyone else, there are always two choices on campus: the Student Center Commons and the Student Center Food Court. Both the Student Center Commons and Food Court offer an exceptional variety of choices for lunch, including Chick-fil-A, Burger King, Jackets, and even a Starbucks.
