2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am not getting a "true" college experience, I plan to transfer in one years time.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This is not a university so it is not taken as seriously as local universities.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I have only taken core classes so I am not really into my major yet.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors are awesome. Most are part time and have a job at other universities near by

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The campus is very small so officers are mostly there for parking

1 College Sophomore

Athletics: There are no varsity sports on campus. Soccer and softball are the only popular sports. The gym is small

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I live in an apartment off-campus that is less than a minute from school

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: A dining plan is required even though most students commute. The dining hall is not open past 8

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The on-campus dorms are extravagant, but the college spent too much on them and they are way too expensive for anyone to afford. Most of them sit empty and are being used as teacher offices.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: This local college is in the center of a large shopping center featuring every fast food place you can think of and several sit down places as well.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: This college features a lot of diversity because students chose this local college for different reasons: financial, family, work, age, etc.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is not a typical college town as this is a local community college.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Because this is a local college, the main party spots are far from campus and feature more adults than college students.

College Freshman

Greek Life: Being new, GGC doesn't have much Greek life.

5 College Freshman

Campus Dining: I love the food and the plentiful options and hours, it's awesome.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: If anything is addressed here it would be safety. Literally, the hugest part of attending GGC.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: Not much school spirit and not too many choices or attendance.

1 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: GGC IS EXTREMELY STRICT. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DRINK OR SMOKE ANYTHING, ANYWHERE AROUND THIS PLACE. It's an earful if you do.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The mall of Georgia is the closest thing and it's okay.

College Freshman

Nightlife: GGC doesn't allow you to even be hung-over on campus, so good luck with nightlife or stay over a friend's apartment nearby.

2 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The housing expenses are half of my loan paired with the meal plan and there are really strict rules inside dorms like no removing furniture along with it being a dry campus.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Students here love to socialize and create places and events where we can join together and hangout.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I've yet to apply for financial aid but whenever I visit the office it's always busy, so it might be a bit of a struggle but I can't judge.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This school is great if you want a really good education and require a little more attention in the classroom. Although, GGC is still growing, there is a lot to benefit from here.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: GGC is new, so accreditation is slim and a bit of a risk to employers but you learn a lot at a great cost.
