3 College Freshman

Weather: the weather is usually great

4 College Junior

Weather: Besides the humidity of the summer, the weather of Milledgeville is great. I enjoy the sunny days on front campus and the cold wintry feel during the fall and winter.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: GA weather is WEIRD! One day its hot, the next its raining, the next its 50 degrees out. It's mother nature's weird way of saying she loves us, I think. This year the weather was pretty bad! One week it snowed, the next it was 80 degrees out! AWFUL.

3 College Junior

Weather: Georgia usually has great weather, but recent thunder and rainstorms hit several neighboring states. GCSU is awesome when it comes to the safety of faculty and students.

College Senior

Weather: The weather here, like most weather in Georgia, is kind of crazy. It can be extremely hot one day, and later that day a thunderstorm can come.

Be ready for the heat! Milledgeville is known for its extreme heat, so be sure to pack accordingly. In August, expect temperatures to be near 100 degrees and to stay this warm through at least October. It begins to get cooler in late October and will actually feel like winter starting in January. It starts to be warm again in mid-March, so don't expect it to be cool for very long!

When it is warm outside, be ready for Front Campus to be full of students picnicking, throwing a Frisbee, or setting up hammocks. The campus truly comes to life during the warm, sunny days.
