Off-Campus Housing: Online Student living in another state

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus selection is alright. It wasn't too hard to find options, but my housemates and I didn't go to the school for the information. Rather, we used a website to find affordable houses close to campus. The pros of the house is that it is close to campus (six minute walk), affordable between six people, spacious, and the landlord isn't too strict. Some cons would be that it's old, parking is hard as the streets are narrow, and it's a bit unnerving how many ambulances/sirens go off. Another con was that there was construction going on during the initial months of the year, which wasn't all that pleasant.

I didn't even know that the school offered help for finding off-campus housing, but I feel it would be useful.

Off-Campus Housing: My friends that live off campus LOVE it. They are all upperclassmen though. Newberg is super small, but with a school of only 3000 it is super easy to find an off campus place or join in with some friends, plus there is so much more freedom!
