Student Body: In one of my classes, I had students aging from their teens, all the way to students in their 50's. There were also students that come from different parts of the world, beliefs, sex, and race. We are quite the diverse group but we all accept eachother for who we are.

Academic Experience: I am currently working on my degree in fire protection. So far the two major classes I have taken were Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) and Fire Fighting Principals. Going through my EMT-B, we started out with about 30 students and ended with about 16. It was a very challenging course but its expected. The field of medical is always changing and with the new technology, there are many things to be taught. In my opinion, Fire Fighting Principals was my favorite. It was not only mentally challenging, but physically challenging too. I have recieved both my Fire Fighter 1 and EMT-B certification/licence. The equipment provided really helped me get a feel for the job before I got hired. Going throught Fire Fighting Principals, we did several live burns, including one inside of a burn building. I couldnt have asked for better training in both fields.

Academic Experience: The programs I am enrolled in have mostly been off campus courses. I really enjoy working with my instructors because they used to have careers in the fields that I am studying. The best part about this, the instructors can answer all of the questions that pertain to the course and to real life experiences.

Career Services: I have not attended or are aware of these things at my school. However i haven't looked into it either. As far as my career, I already have my foot in the door. I am currently a Firefighter/EMT on a Volunteer fire dept. and haven't planned on looking into a full time dept. till just recently.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education is well worth the tuition paid. I have yet to deal with a financial aid office, everything was done on the school website.

Campus Resources: Student service center is great with helping enrollment issues or any problems that arise. The library has a lack of books, due to the digital age. They keep the computer lab open for students to look up anything online.

Online Courses: Taking classes online this the worst thing a student can do. One the teacher don't tell you how to go online to fine the things that you would need to know or just going about it with the students.
