Campus Resources: Most of my degree will be completed on-line and assignments submitted on-line. They have the network ability to facilitate about anything I would need to do on-line. You definitely must have your own personal computer with wireless access.

Campus Resources: My school has a library in the main building and a student center as well as a full resource center online. The online resource center is great as I do not live close to my school and will require the ability to utilize the school library and other resources regularly.

Overall Experience: My school is unique due to the technical nature of the programs and degrees while also offering very traditional degrees. The hardest part about my school is that is it three and a half hours from where I live. While most of my degree can be done on-line I am having to travel for some of the classes which makes balancing a family, a full-time job, and school a challenge.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For the type of degree I am going for the tuition was affordable. The website for the college has a clear area and great links for financial aid and other types of college funding available for students. Academic and Program Advisers are always available and willing to help in any way they can.

Student Body: Due to the technical nature of my school the student body is very diverse. There are all races and nationalities making the education level high due to more discussions on real-world, both domestic and international, topics and issues.

Facilities: My school has a great technical aspect. Meaning you get hands-on experience in the classroom with real-world technology in the field you are studying. With the classroom instruction and the hands-on process you are sure to do well in your chosen field of study.

Online Courses: Online courses require self discipline and great time management. The workload can be difficult if you have trouble prioritizing and are not self motivated. I am a very dedicated, organized, and able to manage a heavy schedule due to the support of my family. As I work full-time and have a husband and 2 children online classes are about the only way I can further my education and advance in my career. The downside to online courses is you are not face-to-face with an instructor or receiving hands-on learning. You do, however, have opportunities to chat with your online instructors and you are never without some form of instruction or without the ability to get help. It just takes a lot of self-study and hard work to complete a class online.
