Academic Experience: I am a business Management major. Finding classes after five o'clock was a little hard but it is made up for with online availability.

Academic Experience: All of the professors I have had so far have been wonderful and caring.

Career Services: The school is pretty good about helping you land a job when you are finished and will help you with transferring schools.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: I can schedule my classes really easily. The general education classes are offered at all times of day while the core classes were harder to find at different times of day.

Overall Experience: I love this school. Never have I even once felt like just another student.

Student Body: We have a very diverse student body. We have some people who are old some very young. Some very passionate others are just there to satisfy their parents. We are very ethnically diverse.

Facilities: I love two of the three facilities they are perfect size and are up to date and modern. however the Covington campus is pretty outdated architecturally. They are making up for the date of the original building by adding other buildings around it to make it better

Online Courses: I do not do well when not in a class setting but my professors work with me to help me insure that I get the help I need to complete the assignments

Campus Resources: I can always get in touch with someone when I have a problem and there is always access to the libraries.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For the first couple of semesters I didn't have any issues but this year I had submitted my fafsa in early march and they told me in July that extra work was needed causing me to lose the Pell Grant

Overall Experience: I would choose Gateway if I had to start over again. It is adult learning friendly and allows me to work while getting an education. It would be nice to see certain courses available to evening students though. Overall it has been just fine.

Online Courses: I do not take online courses.

Academic Flexibility: I am happy that there are evening classes available but it would be nice if other programs and activities had evening hours. It would be nice if the library could stay open a little later. It is difficult to work eight and a half hours and immediately attend a three and a half hour class though. It can be overwhelming at times when the instructor gets off topic and time is wasted. Other than minor things and schedule manageability to make time for homework, I am happy with my decision in choosing Gateway.

Academic Experience: I am going for my Associate in Science right now and plan to enroll into a university for Wildlife Biology. I am currently attending general education courses through Gateway.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There seems to be a lot of opportunity here, I just wish that more things were available to evening students. The professors all seem pleasant and knowledgeable of their subject material. Registration for classes is fairly simple. The workload is modest.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I work full time in order to pay my tuition. I unfortunately could not afford the books so I had a friend lend me her old book for one class and I have just been going without in another class. Granted, going to community college is much more affordable than a university. It is a little exhausting though having to work forty hours a week and then go to classes, having no financial assistance and not be able to afford it myself. I go part time so that I can afford to pay the costs but that just means I will be in school longer. I would like to go full time and be able to afford my books. But since I have no aid I am not sure if that will happen. Financial aid loans are available, but at a rate so high it'll make anyone's head spin. Affordable college seems like it should exist here in the land of the free. Or maybe colleges could just start by not charging 200 dollars for a book that the instructor will use three times... Other than that, the staff in the office when I go to pay seem friendly and helpful and sympathetic as I had over the money I have saved up for months to be able to attend.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There always seems to be some sort of activity going on that is open to Gateway students. Unfortunately I work full time during the day and am not able to attend most of the interesting things I would be delighted in joining.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The labs are okay. The computers could be a little more up to date.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: there are not a lot of evening hours flexibility.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would choose this school because it is right down the street from my job, offers night classes, and is cheaper then going to a four year college when I was undecided on what I wanted to do

3 College Junior

Student Body: there are a lot of different ethnic back grounds. A lot of different personalities.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Dont like that I have to find my internship and everyone for the semester is looking for one

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: When have questions you always get voicemails.
