Tuition & Financial Aid: The school's tuition is a very reasonable price. The Financial Aid office was also very outstanding and helped me with many of my questions as best as they could.

Career Services: I am not able to rate this section because I have not been involved with these services.

Facilities: One thing that sets my college apart from other schools it the unique placement of the college and campus. Both the campus and the college are on a road that is a little ways from the main road.

Academic Flexibility: My class schedule has been very flexible this school year. If I had to miss class due to an illness, the professors were very understanding and allowed me to make up most of my work.

Overall Experience: My overall experience was ok. While I learned a few new things and was challenged a little, I found most of my classes to resemble high school classes.

Academic Experience: I do not think there are too many people who have the same major as me. I have only met about 10 people who have the same major. My coursework for now is manageable and follows the coursework of what I would assume a undeclared major would have.

Academic Experience: The professors are very concerned about their students and how they are doing with their courses. They are also able to be reached easily during their office hours.

Online Courses: While I find the online courses flexible with my schedule, it is sometimes hard to follow along with the subjects.

Campus Resources: The faculty tries their best to get the students involved in as many activities as they can.

Campus Resources: Sometimes the internet can be hard to connect to, but for the most part it is fast and usually working. The printers are fairly fast at printing. In the mornings, it takes a few minutes for the computers to start up.

Facilities: The professors are always there to help. We have a math lab and a writing center to help students that need extra help. The campus is very small compared to others campuses. Our gym is only a year old. We have a indoor swimming pool, work out area, and a brand new basketball gym.

Student Body: I like the diversity in the school. I think this is important. We should be able to deal with everyone on all levels, from our roommates to the President of the college. The most important thing to me is the respect factor. We all realize the campus, student population and staff are small in size. We have to keep in mind to respect each others space and boundaries. The students here at Garrett have strong convictions and dedication to their education. And therefore, that makes the difference in how we manage our time and interactions. We also know how to get together and have a good time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid staff is very knowledgeable and helpful with my financial packet. Yes, unexpected fees did show up and because of the financial aid advisor help, I was able to attend school this semester. Hopefully, with this scholarship, I will be able to attend school and get money to help pay for my books.

Academic Flexibility: Once again, I applauded the professors and the administrators at Garrett. They are very in tune with the students and some of the challenges we may have in school. They have an open door policy which I like and I was able to get through a difficult time of adjusting to college because of the help.

Academic Experience: Can not actually say yet, since I have not gotten into my major.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The curriculum is challenging, yet, the registration process is easy. However the workload takes up the majority of my time. They offer an excellent resource center for extra help.

5 College Junior

Career Services: Since this is my first semester and I am still getting adjusted, I haven't looked into post-grad services yet. However, I have confidence in the faculty, when the time comes for me to pursue a higher degree, the will assist me with this endeavor.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Garrett is the perfect school for to start my college experience. It gives me just enough freedom with a lot of academic and moral support. I wasn't ready to go to a large University and this a perfect for me.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I really like how the staff and faculty are so involved in our overall experience. It is so easy for my parents to call and speak with someone and right away when they give my name, the staff knows immediately who I am. They listen to the students and the parents. I feel that I will do well at Garrett and I will succeed.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Because our campus is small, everyone is on a first name basis and we have a great deal of interaction between faculty, staff and students. I like that part of my school. It gives me a more relax feel and easy adjustment from being away from home.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Because our school is somewhat set apart from so much, and we relay heavily on the school's equipment. Therefore, it is best with also have our own computers and printers, to meet our many deadlines.

Online Courses: I have only taken two online courses at Garrett College and it was the same professor. It was difficult and time consuming, but I learned a lot. The professor was quick to reply to emails and was understanding of the technology problems that come with online classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Garrett College offers the Garrett County Scholarship. This allows high school students that graduate from one of the two high schools in Garrett County, MD to start college with free tuition for 2 years. It is a great chance to get your core courses in, while you try to figure out what major you would like to go into. It encourages many students to try college, even if it wasn't in their plans to. I am so thankful for this scholarship and it has given me the chance to save money for when I transfer to a 4-year school.

We have students and faculty from all over the globe. The teachers and advisors work with you so they can make your college experience easier and fun.

Academic Experience: I loved taking my early childhood classes. I was able to see different aspects from other students and the professor challenged us to be creative and think outside the box. This is my final semester at Garrett College and I am very pleased with the skills I have learned.
