4 College Sophomore

Weather: This past winter was terribly cold for the south, pretty miserable. The weather is pretty sporadic, but overall, it's not bad. Doesn't really affect the campus experience I don't think.

The weather in Greenville is hot and humid in the summers, and cold and wet in the winters. However, the weather is much milder than any Northern winters or deep Southern summers. It does seem to rain a lot, so bring plenty of rain gear. But the rainy days are worth it when students are able to enjoy Furman's lush green vegetation on warm spring days.

The most frustrating aspect of Greenville's weather is its unpredictability. It can be sunny and warm one day, and cold and rainy the next. This makes the weather difficult
to prepare for, but the conditions are always bearable.
Furman has a beautiful fall, a little snow in the winter,
and a breezy, sunny spring.
