3 College Junior

Parking: Parking on campus is fairly easy as far as classes go. But if you want parking close to your dorm, and you're in the lower part of campus, its almost impossible to get close parking (which is a blow in the winter time). You don't have to have a car to get around campus and there are multiple buses that come to campus and take you around the city. On campus parking permits are free and are $40 for off campus for the year.

2 College Freshman

Parking: There are a few parking lots that are big and open, but are far from where most of the classes are held. The parking places close to the buildings with classes in them have very minimal parking for students.

If you have an early class at Frostburg State, then finding a parking spot is not a problem. However, if your first class is at 11 a.m., all of the parking places will be gone. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan accordingly.

Freshmen are allowed to have cars on campus, but you do not technically need one. If you have a car, then that car does not move from the parking lot, and it takes a spot away from a commuting student. This is something to consider before you bring a car. Yes, there are spots, but there are fewer and fewer spots open as the day goes on.
