3 College Senior

Drug Safety: Alcohol is a big part in the school. Alcohol is at almost every party. I am not quite sure about drugs, but I do know that some students smoke marijuana. No one peer pressures anyone to drink or use drugs. They enforce if you get caught.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There isnt much on campus

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Though there are few incidents with drugs on campus there is still cases when drugs are in the dorms.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: It really depends on who you hang out with. There's not really an abundance of drugs on campus so there's nothing to worry about. Most of the time you'll see people drinking.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: At Frostburg State University drugs are not a big thing. Most people just drink and that is about it. There are a couple of people that smoke but not a huge group.

Everyone knows that Frostburg State University is considered a "party school." The truth is, there is no more partying here than on any other campus. Alcohol is mainly seen in off-campus houses and not the dorms because it is against the dorms’ regulations to allow alcohol to be kept in the residence halls. When you first move into a dorm, you will receive a contract telling you what you definitely cannot do, and keeping alcohol in your dorm room is one of them. If the RAs catch you with alcohol in your dorm room or in the building, they will confiscate it and report you. If an underage student is caught drinking on or off campus, the student can be given a citation or even taken to court and expelled/suspended. FSU takes the risks of drinking very seriously.

There is no smoking, not even cigarettes, allowed on campus. However, a lot of students smoke marijuana in the dorms or outside. If you are caught with illegal drugs, you will be kicked off campus, and your chances of entering another college in the United States is in jeopardy. There have been students that have left for possession of illegal substances. The school has even taken a few students to court. Do not smoke in the dorms or on campus—you will get caught.
