3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The department of Campus Life and Residence works hard, but many students are unresponsive to social opportunities on campus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: We have some incredible professors, such as Dr. Bartel (professor of music and director of the Singing Quakers), and Dr. Bill Allen (professor of psychology and the main proponent of Psych club and extracurricular service activities), but there are also some professors just there to get their salary and go.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Friends has numerous connection opportunities for some programs.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: We do not have any fraternities or sororities or greek association in any way.

2 College Junior

Athletics: We need some sports fans at this school! The student section is the smallest I have ever seen!

Off-Campus Dining: There are many diverse eatery options in downtown wichita. There is a vegan place just down the street that is AMAZING. Pizza is only five minutes away, and is best at 2am in the morning. There is a french restaurant right next to the pizzaria, and it isn't bad. Tex-mex is cheap but good, and there is an incredible smoothie place in near Century 2.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Friends is located next to downtown Wichita, so all of the best shopping, cultural, and dining places are within a ten minute drive.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: The campus life department is more strict than anything else on campus.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The safety could be much improved. While we have a ready and willing support team, the prevention needs a step up.

3 College Junior

Academics: I would say my favorite program is the psychology department. There are more hands-on opportunities, events, and connectivity than other programs on campus. The workload isn't bad, but the curriculum is still challenging. The professors expect you to work hard but they are always available to answer questions, assist in project brainstorming or even project execution, and they really care about their students.

4 College Junior

Academics: Friends study areas are prevalent across campus. There are little lounges everywhere, and every building has some kind of study hall. Curriculum depends on the program, but registration for any program is very easy. There is only one form to sign, and only you and your adviser have to sign it. Special study options are limited, but that also means that your workload is almost guaranteed to be easy.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: You will have to work your butt off to qualify for extra aid. It is a headache, but the people in the office aren't the problem. You will meet some fantastic people who will do their best to meet you halfway even if the process is exhausting for the both of you.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Most students aren't really there for the education. Many are there for fun, or just to compete in athletics. There are few noticeably athletic students, and the intelligence level is concerning. It is definitely a marriage license school.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: The food at Casado isn't bad, but it isn't that great either. It will do for a few meals a week, but prospective students may want to have other food options to fall back on when Casado isn't open or when it isn't very good.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The support from the school is like general house hunting. You get a listing of properties close by and you make all the contacts. The prices are kinda high if its close tho the school.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Had a little problem but it's a hassle when you do it yourself as a Independent student.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: I'm a IT/Business major so, when there is any problem, I handle it then and there.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: If its a weekday I'm in bed early. Books first, Party later.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Always helpful when in a time of need. The campus is there to help.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: All needs are taken car of, Meal plans are awesome.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: It's pretty nice until you get on the highways.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Football and Track athlete here and I love the environment.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I've only experienced the party life of off campus.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: I see all races even different races within races

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Currently a double major student in IT and Business. The classes smooth by.
