5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I did not have any college prior to going to Fortis and one of the top selling points for me was that the prerequisites were including in the program and that it takes just over 2 years.

Campus Resources: We have wireless access but there are security policies that prevent students from knowing the wireless password. The Librarian has to manually type in the code and then one is not sure for how long it will work and once on the elevator the connection is lost as well. It's frustrating.

Campus Resources: The tuition is rather high and it is discouraging that as students we do not have some of the basic equipment like a projector or document camera during a crucial class like Head and Neck Anatomy.

Academic Experience: The acceleration of the courses is very difficult, but not unrealistic. This is a great opportunity for those who still have to work or have families... Or are limited to the time they have to complete the program. I haven't been impressed with the teaching style thus far, but hear it gets better as the program progresses.

Campus Resources: The best part of the school in my opinion is the library. The libraries resources and the help from the librarian is very useful.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid is not helpful at all. I am going in debt because I have to pay a lo of money to attend school every month. I don't have the money to really pay it. When I came to the school I did not expect to pay anything and I thought if I did they would help me find grants and scholarships to pay but I have to do it all on my own. The tuition for my program is a lot for the little help we get.

Career Services: They are very active when you actually go to see them for a job or any help finding a job but they only help if you constantly go to them.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because I was told a lot about this school. But overall I am not totally satisfied. Some teachers are good with students but some are not. The lead of my program isn't very helpful to students and can be very rude. I like that I am actually learning some things but I can not wait until I graduate from the school. I do not recommend this school for Dental Assisting.
