Campus Resources: While most of the aspects of the school are average at best, aesthetically, it's wonderful. The Dumont Campus in Wolf Point is beautiful, and the library in Poplar looks so modern and surreal, it's easy to forget you're in a small town in Montana.

Overall Experience: My favorite professors are my Math and English professors. They both push me to do my best in both fields, and I can rely on them when I need help with assignments. Some other professors aren't as good, like the science professor and the computer/technology professor. Both of these people had problems showing up to class, in fact, the science professor was gone for roughly 3/4s of a semester.

Overall Experience: From what I can tell, there isn't an individual in charge of recruitment. Everyone from the teachers to the other faculty do some form of recruitment. I think it's a great community college to start out of, and there are plenty of programs for people who are interested in welding and such.

Academic Flexibility: Unfortunately for me, I live in Wolf Point, Montana, while the primary facilities are in Poplar, Montana. The drive isn't too long, but in the winter season it's harder to drive to Poplar due to the weather conditions. Since the campus in Wolf Point is a satellite campus, I can't sign up for courses or receive many of the services, like buying my course books, unless I drive to Poplar; which makes things very inconvenient.

Student Body: There are some students who genuinely care about their education at my school. However, most only sign up for a few courses so they can receive the Pell Grant and drop out as soon as the money is theirs. The students who stay usually do well in their courses and move on to bigger and better opportunities.

Career Services: As far as I can tell personally, I don't think FPCC has any of those services. Unless I just haven't heard of them, which I think is equally bad; they need to let people know about those services.

Academic Experience: It seems that the facility is not as good as it should be. At one time there was the best facility around. Students studying was not hard to find.

Academic Experience: Based on the last semester It was not too good.

Campus Resources: There are no recourses in regards to athletics centers or campus activities. However the college has mentioned that there is funds available for students at the dorms if they would like to have dorm activities.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are computers available to students in more than one or more spots on campus.

Overall Experience: There are many smart and talented students in the area. It seems that motivation drops a lot after they are enrolled here.

1 College Senior

Career Services: Not any post grad options here.

3 College Senior

Student Body: I don't communicate too much with the student body at this college. At the same time there isn't too much student interaction. Many students don't have study groups.

Also I wish the enrollment would increase.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid here is the best. The facility in that area seem to find a way for someone to go t to school if they want to. That is a big plus here.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Facility is good. However I feel there needs to be more recreation and living dorms for students.

Online Courses: Took online courses in 2010 but I did not have the best results. I worked full time as a single mother. In the evening after children went to bed I would do my course work. During the time all the lack of sleep caught up with me.

Academic Flexibility: Classes and the instructors are good. However throughout the semester I have had some difficulties that have caused me some days away. However the last part of the semester was chaos. I expressed this concern to my instructors. Chaos was extreme to the point I didn't even make it to classes and get in my finals.

However I am starting a new semester and want to retake my classes. I am very excited about my upcoming classes. I love to study and work hard.

Career Services: I am not totally sure if my school offers any post graduate services, i havn't heard of the school helping anyone secure a job after they graduate. Most of the students that graduate from my school only have their associates in general education or one year certificates. Students seeking a bachelors degree usually transfer to bigger colleges. As far as i know there isn't an alumni network. The job prospects here aren't very good, it is Montana after all.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are very good. There is a wellness center where you can go use the treadmills, lift weights, there are many fitness classes, a sauna. The student center is nice, equipped with everything a student might need. We have a brand new library that was just finished this year, also has everything a student might need to assist with research or just provide reading material. The aesthetics of the campus are very nice, every building is named after a tribal leader or chief.

Campus Resources: The computer network at my school is great, every building has a computer lab with printers available in each lab, network reliability is the same as anywhere else, the speed is great, offers an open WiFi network so you can take your laptop with you to class if you choose.

Student Body: The student body at my school consists of mainly native american students from my tribe, the Assiniboine and Sioux, there are some students from other tribes that attend as well, also there seem to be more and more white students attending. There is a lot of acceptance at my school, there are some students with learning disabilities that attend and i see students assisting them everyday. There are some clubs and a student senate. So the student body is very accepting. There isn't any challenges with diversity that i can see.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at my school has been great. Its close to home, but i do drive to class, but not far. My favorite experience would have to be Native American Week, the college puts on a parade and pow-wow, its very fun and nice to see that the college is trying to keep our traditions alive. Its unique because its a tribal college ran by my tribe, but anyone can enroll. Would I choose my school again if I could do it all over again? I am not sure, I would've liked to have attended a four year university right out of high school, but my parents made me stay here and attend Fort Peck Community College, being here with all my friends and family was nice, but, I made mistakes, staying out all night, not going to class, typical stuff a 18 year old would do, and withdrew from college. the mistakes, i think wouldn't have happened if I was at a four year university. I believe my life would've been different if i did take my scholarship, i had a scholarship for any college or university i wanted to go to in the state of Montana after i graduated from high school. So i am not sure if i would choose "my" school again.

Facilities: The most unique thing about my school is that its a tribal college that is ran by tribal members. It is very focused on helping the tribal members get an education and succeed. They offer many native american classes anyone can take.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My experience at my school has been very good. There isn't much flexibility with the classes, but, there is flexibility with the assignments if you talk to your professors and let them know what going on with you, they'll work with you. i have no frustrations or hassles and no transferring credits.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Fort Peck Community College being a tribal college on an indian reservation and me being an enrolled member of an federally recognized tribe, i get some assistance with my financial needs, pell grant covers a lot of my expenses. I do believe i am getting my moneys worth, my experience with the financial aid office has been fine, a tip for getting financial aid at my school is start early, there usually is a pre-registration day where you can get everything done from registering for classes and finishing your financial aid, the financial aid officer was very helpful with this process and answered any questions i had. You'll have everything done when regular registration day comes and if there are any problems you can address them and you'll be set to start your education.
