3 College Sophomore

Academics: It's Liberal Arts, so there are many paths to choose.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I hear the Math department is very competitive, and is along side some prestigious schools Math studies.

5 College Junior

Facilities: It's a beautiful campus, small and easy to navigate, with a lot of different places to hang out or just wait for class to start.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I love the art program, and my art classes, they're a lot of fun. Students really get to know each other and become friends by the end of the semester. Also, even if you don't have a class with people, you'll pretty much see them on campus all the time because it's so small. That's kinda cool, makes it seem like a real community.

College Junior

Greek Life: I'm not aware of a greek life on campus.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Life changing and eye opening!

5 College Junior

Transportation: The Transit is free to FLC students who show their Student ID with transit sticker on the back.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't taken an internship yet. I do plan on taking one though, but haven't given it much thought.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love art, and I love taking art classes. In general, art isn't the best option for a stable future, but I'm not really worried about it too much.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Sodexo isn't the best, but it's not the worst. "The Melting Pot" is supposed to be diverse foods from different cultures, but really it just means tacos for the most part. The pizza isn't great either, and the vegetables all taste funny. The breakfast options are the best. The Rocket makes really good fries and bacon cheeseburgers, and they try to switch things up pretty regularly. There are also shops/cafes on campus that are good if you need to get something real quick before a class.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Fort Lewis has a wide range of men and women on campus.

5 College Junior

Weather: It was warm most of the time, but when it wasn't there was some gorgeous rain and exciting, rumbling thunder. It didn't snow all that much this year, and when it got windy there was dust in the air.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The varsity sports promote school pride, and there are all sorts of intramural sports as well. There is a great gym in the Student Life Center for working out, a track, and a court to play sports.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are apartments right off campus if you prefer to be in easy walking distance. There are also apartments further away that are cheaper and pretty nice, and right near a bus stop that goes to campus.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I went to Fort Lewis College for two semesters. During the first semester, there had been a sexual assault on the nature trail, and I didn't hear about it until the second semester when a new student told me about it. I do like the fact that if I contact the campus police they will give me a weekly crime report.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone I've met on campus has been accepting of people's beliefs, orientations, backgrounds, and disabilities.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: The college is in Colorado, so everyone is pretty gung-ho about the whole weed thing. I'm not, but I've never felt pressured to partake either. The RAs try to enforce the no weed in the dorms policy, but students get away with a lot.

4 College Junior

Computers: There are a lot of computer labs available on campus, both Mac and PC, with all the necessary software programs, even for art majors. The network went down quite a few times during the year, but the Wifi is usually always available and is fast. Paying for printing is a hassle, and when I tried to download the Microsoft Software I had compatibility issues with my laptop for the rest of the year.

4 College Student

Guys & Girls: Nice and friendly people everywhere!

College Student

Greek Life: I don't know if there really was a Greek life?

3 College Student

Campus Dining: Sometimes there is good, tasteful foods, sometimes there wasn't.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: I feel that most people are accepting of diversity but then there are the few that are hell bent on no accepting diversity.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: A college can do what they can to teach drug safety but most students wont learn until they are in a bad situation. Its sad how granted students take things.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Its good if you can find a place. If you cant you have to live on campus or in your car.. car is your best bet.

3 College Freshman

Weather: It's Colorado, if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes...
